Antio Florane is a Breton rogue and Operative of the Thieves Guild who can be found at The Empress Katariah in Old Ebonheart. He is a competitive and opportunist thief, and a recurring antagonistic character during the events of the Thieves Guild questline in Old Ebonheart.
For protection, he wears a netch leather cuirass, a pair of studded leather boots, and a pair of studded leather pauldrons. For clothing, he wears a common shirt, a pair of common pants, and a pair of expensive gloves. He wields a steel saber and carries a torch.
Aside from his natural bonus and resistance to magicka, and his ability to shield himself for short periods, he knows no spells.

DialogueEdit
- Greetings:
- "I am Florane, %Name. An expert tomb raider and a gentleman rogue. And I can tell for a fact that you, %PCRace, are an amateur adventurer at best. Why are you bothering me?"
- "How many tombs have you raided, %PCName? One? Two? I can assure you that I've looted at least twice as many targets. What is it that you want?"
- Background:
- "I am the legendary tomb raider %Name. Surely you must have heard of my exploits?"
Thieves Guild: The Eye of ArgoniaEdit
- Eye of Argonia:
- "Fentus sent you to fetch the Eye of Argonia from the Imperial warship? And the secret code word is 'scurvy mudcrab'? You better follow the orders to the letter if you don't want to fail miserably on your first job here. Good luck, %PCName. Ha ha ha."
Thieves Guild: Thieving RivalryEdit
- Greetings:
Upon meeting him in Saldro Ancestral Tomb:
- "I've been waiting for you for a while now, %PCName. Since you were so slow to get here, I already searched this tomb and found [[Tamriel Rebuilt:Sharai-Saldro's Astrography|Sharai-Saldro's Astrography]. But please... don't feel bad. After all, you've been bested by none other than %Name, the most legendary of tomb raiders in all of Tamriel! That's something to tell the grandkids."
If you have never talked to him up to this point:
- "Oi, you! You must be the one working for Fentus, no? I've been waiting for you for a while now. Since you were so slow to get here, I already searched this tomb and found Sharai-Saldro's Astrography. But please... don't feel bad. After all, you've been bested by none other than %Name, the most legendary of tomb raiders in all of Tamriel! That's something to tell the grandkids."
- "Sharai-Saldro's Astrography is mine. Finders keepers."
- "I won, you lost. Get used to it."
- Sharai-Saldro's Astrography:
- "To be frank, I don't know what makes this old picture book so special. I swear I've seen a copy of this one before. Probably in a bookshop's shelf somewhere. Compared to the treasures that I usually find from these tombs, it's nothing to get excited about."
- Are you sure you've found the right book?:
- "Of course I'm sure. It's a book. There was only one in the entire tomb, which I searched from top to bottom, so that has to be the right one. It's called logic, %PCName. Try it sometime." (See other choices)
-
- Can I see it?:
- "Hmph. No, you can't. If you wanted to see it, you should've gotten here sooner."
- If Disposition is at least 70:
- "Hmph. Why not. Take a look. [%Name pulls out an old copy of Ffoulke's Firmament from his bag and shows it to you. Granted, it does have pictures of stars in it, but it's clearly not Sharai-Saldro's Astrography.]"
- That's not Sharai-Saldro's Astrography.:
- "Ha ha ha, what a load of bonkers! The great %Name doesn't make mistakes. There was only one book in the entire tomb, which I searched from top to bottom, so this has to be the right one. It's called logic, %PCName. Try it sometime."
- If you have already asked him if he's found the right book:
- "Ha ha ha, what a load of bonkers! The great %Name doesn't make mistakes. Like I told you, this was the only book in the entire tomb. It has to be the right one."
- "Hmph. Why not. Take a look. [%Name pulls out an old copy of Ffoulke's Firmament from his bag and shows it to you. Granted, it does have pictures of stars in it, but it's clearly not Sharai-Saldro's Astrography.]"
-
-
- Okay. You've clearly bested me.:
- "I'd better get back to the Empress Katariah. I know Fentus had a buyer of his own in mind, but I bet I can get this sold for way more than he ever could."
-
-
- Give it to me!:
- "Why, yes, YES, of course I will! And why stop at the book? Why don't you take all my money as well. And the clothes off my back, too. You have it all! ...I was being sarcastic, by the way. Finders keepers, %PCName. Finders keepers."
- If Disposition is at least 70:
- "No, I won't give you the book, but I'll let you see it. Take a look. [%Name pulls out an old copy of Ffoulke's Firmament from his bag and shows it to you. Granted, it does have pictures of stars in it, but it's clearly not Sharai-Saldro's Astrography.]"

Thieves Guild: Lost in ChunzefkEdit
- Greetings:
- "%PCName... You... you... *cough* *cough*... have saved me. There was a cave in... a huge boulder nearly crushed me... I ran here for cover, but then the way was shut by collapsed rocks. I would have never gotten out of here without you."
- Continue:
- "I suppose... I suppose I owe you my thanks. Hmmph. Don't let that get to your head, though..."
- Continue:
- "I'll return to Old Ebonheart on my own. I need to gather my strength first... get some food and drink and rest. You can return ahead of me and let Fentus know I'm alright. Staff of Dalen-Zanchu? You can have that cursed thing. That's the reason for all my troubles. It's in the corner there." Goodbye
- If you already have the Dalen-Zanchu Staff:
- "I'll return to Old Ebonheart on my own. I need to gather my strength first... get some food and drink and rest. You can return ahead of me and let Fentus know I'm alright. I see you have the Staff of Dalen-Zanchu? Keep the cursed thing. That's the reason for all my troubles.' Goodbye
- "I'll return to Old Ebonheart on my own. I need to gather my strength first. You can return ahead of me and let Fentus know I'm alright." Goodbye
Thieves Guild: An Empress' RansomEdit
- Greetings:
- "Well, well, well, %PCName... Looks like the metaphorical tables have turned. Hand over the Death Mask of Empress Katariah, if you please."
- "Just hand over the Death Mask of Empress Katariah and I'll let you go. Promise."
When you find him later on in the Hall of Kings Past after giving the mask:
- "[%Name lies grievously wounded. Without your help he will surely perish.]"
- [Help him.]:
- "[You manage to stop the bleeding and help Antio back on his feet. He might live to see another day.]" Goodbye (Disposition up to 100)
-
- Take the Death Mask from him.]:
- "[You take the Death Mask. Blood gushes out of Antio's mouth. He tries to speak, but can not.]" Goodbye (Disposition down by 50, and you receive the Death Mask of Katariah)
-
- [Deliver a blow of mercy.]:
- "[As you end %Name's life you catch a glimpse of something in his eyes. You can not tell whether it's horror or gratitude.]" Goodbye (Disposition down to 0, and he dies)
-
- Leave him be for now.]:
- "[%Name groans in pain, but can not move or speak. You leave him be.]" Goodbye (Disposition down by 5)
If you saved him:
- "Even after what I did... you... you saved me. Again... Thank you."
- Continue:
- "Here. Take the Death Mask. I'm ashamed I took it from you. And I want you to know that I am sorry, %PCName. Sorry for everything... You are the better thief of us two. Always have been. I'm glad I lived to tell you that." (You receive the Death Mask of Katariah)
- It's alright. I forgive you, Antio.:
- "Your forgiveness means a lot to me, %PCName. Truly. Now let's get the hell outta here!"
- Continue:
- "[%Name exits the Hall of Kings Past. You wonder if you'll ever see him again -- his wounds were rather serious.]" Goodbye
-
-
- I saved you because it's the right thing to do.:
- "Yes... honor among thieves... of course. I know I'm not deserving of your forgiveness... But I am thankful to you, %PCName. Truly. I will strive to be more like you in the future. Now let's get the hell outta here."
- Continue:
- "[%Name exits the Hall of Kings Past. You wonder if you'll ever see him again -- his wounds were rather serious.]" Goodbye
-
-
-
- You're a disgrace to the Guild, but I couldn't let you die.: (See response above)
-
-
-
- Get out of my sight. I don't want to ever see you again.:
- "I understand... I understand... My words must mean nothing to you. You have every right to hate me. I'm getting the hell outta here. I will not cause you any trouble ever again, I promise."
- Continue:
- "[%Name exits the Hall of Kings Past. You wonder if you'll ever see him again -- his wounds were rather serious.]" Goodbye
-
-
-
- No one deserves to die like that. Not even a worm like you.: (See response above)
-
-
-
- I only helped you, so you could defend yourself before I kill you. En garde!:
- "You what -- What cruelty is this!?" Goodbye (He attacks you)
-
- If you already have the Death Mask of Katariah:
- "I want you to know that I am sorry, %PCName. Sorry for everything... You are the better thief of us two. Always have been. I'm glad I lived to tell you that." (See other choices above)
- Death Mask of Empress Katariah:
If you have picked up the Death Mask of Katariah:
- "It seems that removing the mask from the empress' sarcophagus has triggered a security mechanism... trapping you like a little mouse. Lucky for you, Antio is here. There was a crank just outside this burial chamber. I bet it can be used to lower the gate that's keeping you imprisoned. But... I want you to give me the Death Mask first. Hand it over!"
- How did you get in here?:
- "I shadowed you, simple as that. Followed in your footsteps. Without you I would have never gotten past that stone guardian, so I thank you for that. Now. Gimme the mask." (See other choices below)
-
- Let me out. I saved your life earlier.:
- "True. You did save my life in Chunzefk. And now I'm saving yours. All I'm asking is that you gimme the mask first." (See other choices)
-
- Moranie and Fentus are in trouble. I need this mask.:
- "If they are in trouble, it's their own damn fault. Real thieves wouldn't have gotten themselves caught by the guards. You're far too sentimental, %PCName. I say good riddance." (See other choices)
-
- Antio, you little rat! Let me out or I will kill you!:
- "Ha ha ha! Kill me? How? You're trapped in there. Besides... if you kill me, then who's gonna let you out, huh?" (See other choices)
-
- Why would I trust you?:
- "You don't have any other choice but to trust me, do you? Give me the mask and I swear, on my mother's grave, that I will free you." (See other choices)
-
- Alright. Take the mask.:
- "See? It wasn't that hard, was it? This mask... it will make me famous. Everyone in Tamriel will know the name of %Name! %Name!" (Removed Death Mask of Katariah from your inventory)
- Continue:
- "I'm off! Ta-tah, %PCName." Goodbye (He disappears)
- If you don't have the Death Mask of Katariah:
- "Hmphh. Where is the mask, then?" Goodbye
-
- No way.:
- "No? Then you can rot in there until the end of time. The choice is yours. Lemme know when you've changed your mind." Goodbye

) for the events of 'An Empress' Ransom' in order to handle the scripting of the choice to kill him or let him live.
