Dalam Ramaran is a Dark Elf Warrior and a House Brother of House Redoran. At the time of your arrival he has been batting away an agent of the East Empire Company who have been seeking a share in House Redoran's mining rights.
Dalam rules over the quarry town of Bodrum in Roth Roryn, and as such finds himself on the border with the expansionist House Hlaalu. While the conflict between the Redoran and Hlaalu seems less tense than between the Hlaalu and the Indoril on the Thirr River boundary, distrust between the two houses still runs deep, and when a writ for the life of Dalam's daughter, Almse, is issued, Almse is quick enough to name the Hlaalu as being likely behind it.
Dalam himself is married to Ervyna Ramaran His eldest daughter, Almse Ramaran, serves as head of the town guard, while the younger Rarvela Ramaran can be found in Ramaran Manor, where the family live.
