Eseld Veranon is a Breton commoner who manages access to the treasure chamber in Ember Keep, in Firewatch. He appears to be able to grant such access without the permission of his employer, Duchess Perulia Jandacia, indicating the sheer level of trust that the Jandacia family must hold in him. One example of such an occasion occurs during Just a Sip, where with high disposition he may be persuaded to grant you a vial of incarnadine - a special kind of wine that the drunken templar Arlo Ajaxus believes contains the blood of Tiber Septim.
He wears a common shirt with matching pants and shoes. He wields a steel dagger, and carries 12 gold and a key to the treasure chamber doors.
Aside from his natural bonus and resistance to magicka, and his ability to shield himself for short periods, he knows no spells.

DialogueEdit
- Background:
- "%Name is my name. I manage the Ember Keep treasury. Nothing comes or goes from this place without my knowledge."
Just a SipEdit
- incarnadine:
- "Why in the world do you want incarnadine?"
- I would like to drink it.:
- "Certainly not! Incarnadine is for very specific uses. Don't bother me with this again." Goodbye (Disposition down by 5)
-
- There is a Red Dome Templar in Nivalis, Arlo Ajaxus, who is begging for it.:
- "That's hardly a reason to give it out. The Red Dome Templars are fanatics, pure and simple. Tiber Septim's dream was one of peace forged through strength. Theirs is one of everlasting bloodshed. The only way I'll let a templar have incarnadine is if a high officer of the Legion orders me. Or the emperor himself. Or the duchess, of course." Goodbye
- If Disposition is at least 90:
- "Very well, I suppose you've convinced me. We do not truly need the incarnadine for anything. And a Red Dome Templar lost in visions is probably less harmful than a Red Dome Templar plotting to upset the social order. Very well, here's how we shall do this."
- Continue:
- "Omtaba! Unlock the door for our visitor! All right, you may take the incarnadine and ONLY the incarnadine."

- If you are at least Knight Bachelor rank in the Imperial Legion:
- "Hm. Considering your service to the Legion, I suppose I must at least consider your request. We do not truly need the incarnadine for anything. And a Red Dome Templar lost in visions is probably less harmful than a Red Dome Templar plotting to upset the social order. Very well, here's how we shall do this."

- If you have recruited Arlo Ajaxus into the Dustmoth Legion as part of the Imperial Legion quest 'The Templar's Trifles':
- There is a Red Dome Templar in the Dustmoth Garrison, Arlo Ajaxus, who is begging for it.: (Identical response as above)
-
- Nevermind.:
- "Do you have any more business here, or are you just casing the joint?"
- "I trust this matter has been settled."
