1. Speak to Master Bel-Betu in Sehutu about work, scrap metal and Barzamthuand.
2. Enter Barzamthuand and retrieve one or more pieces of Finely Tuned Scrap Metal from the observatory.
3. Return to Bel-Betu and repair his body.
4. Speak to Bel-Betu.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

On completion of Getting Rid of Vildaryn Terano, Master Bel-Betu will reveal the true reason why he requires your assistance - he needs finely tuned scrap metal "specifically crafted to resonate in perfect harmony with the stuff of creation". Such metal can be found in the nearby ruin of Barzamthuand. Bel-Betu's directions are as follows:

"The ruins are southwest of Sehutu. After you leave the cave, turn right so that you could see the mountain ridge on your right. Follow the path through the valley until you stumble into the rock amassment. There take a turn to the left and then the one to the right. You should notice a collapsed dwemer bridge on the go. Barzamthuand is situated on the mild hill and has seen much better times, so be prepared to crawl through the blocked passes."

Journey to the ruin. The Finely Tuned Scrap Metal you're looking for is in the Observatory (most easily accessed through the hole under the bridge on the exterior of the ruin). The scrap metal is the long greyish rods on the ground floor of the observatory. Once you have at least one, return to Bel-Betu. He'll be pleased, and will unlock the trapdoor to his left. Enter it, and you will find the magical barrier protecting the wizard's mummified form. Bel-Betu will direct your attention to the broken piece of metal sticking out from his corpse - the piece with sparks. You need to activate this to replace it with your Finely Tuned Scrap Metal. Bel-Betu will congratulate you once done, and you can now return to him to complete the quest and receive a reward.

NotesEdit

• This quest provides an easy opportunity to complete A Man in the Crystal, but doing so will lock you out of Blood Ritual of Volenfaryon.
• The Dwemer ruin is not to the southwest of the cave, it's mostly south and slightly (a block on the map) to the east. It is directly east of the Daedric ruin Balititashpi.

100	Finishes quest	Master Bel-Betu expressed his gratitude to me and taught me one of his spells. He has other work for me once I'm ready.
120	Finishes quest	I killed Master Bel-Betu, pulling the heart out of his inanimate chest.
