Vanis Nithri is a Dark Elf commoner and the elected hetman of Vhul. In this capacity, he can give out bounties on behalf of Indoril Ilvi of Roa Dyr, usually to track down bandits or slaves. He can be found in his house in town.
He is also the target of a bored Bol Salvani's prank. This Hlaalu notable of Gol Mok has heard rumors of Vanis's fear of crabs, and will ask you to supply the hetman's wife, the marginally crazed Dovame Nithri, with an unbaked scrib pie, stuffed with unhatched molecrab eggs that are expected to hatch in the heat of the oven.
While Vanis does not much appreciate the prank at the time, he will confess to later visitors that the experience cured him of his crustacean-related phobias entirely.
