Horrav Fillipian is an Imperial scholar of biology and a former resident of the Sailors Inn in Aimrah. As you enter the town, Horrav has settled some way to the north of town, having left it in a hurry, and without paying his bills.
He had originally arrived in town to study the Dreugh of Lake Andaram.
"Dreugh are reclusive, but it's said that a great number of them live in the waters of Lake Andaram. That is why I came here. You see, the Dreugh found in Morrowind are different from the ones found elsewhere in Tamriel. And I don't just mean their physiological attributes. They behave differently, too, as if they had a culture of their own. It would've been interesting to study them in the field, but... perhaps I'm not cut out for that."
However, his questions provoked little from the unfriendly locals of Aimrah, and he began to foster a sense of paranoia.
"Well... nothing actually happened. Not yet anyway. It was more of a feeling -- or a hunch, if you will -- that I was in mortal danger. Like I was constantly being watched by someone. At night, they tried to break into the room I was staying in. Or that's what I think. I decided I couldn't take it anymore, packed my things, and left. I'll be going to Almas Thirr now. From there I can find a ship to take me back to civilization."
He will however pay his debts to the Sailors Inn if asked, although still swearing never to set foot in Aimrah again.
