Inera Ilneram is a Dark Elf sorceress who carries out arcane research in Port Telvannis.
Typically for the Telvanni, even simple research leads to plots and intrigues. In this case, Inera, her son Nevus, and Nevus' teacher Rantela Irenam are arch-rivals of Tinera Odrethi and her husband Varrac. Inera has hired a spy to find out more about her rivals' efforts, but hasn't heard from him recently. If anything has happened to her hired help, the rivalry might escalate into all-out conflict.
