This is the journal of the famous smuggler Giden Nerendus, if I say so myself. Today we discovered this cavern. We first thought that it was only a grotto, but then we discovered this really nice hall. We didn't have to argue much before we set up camp; this is just a perfect cave. This great hall is very nice and the cave is really close to the river to help us smuggle.
Today we constructed a pen for the beasties. They have nowhere to go now! Our smuggling operations go as planned, no one will smuggle as much as we will through these mountains!
Today something strange has happened. My nose is turning yellow! They tell me my eyes are getting yellow as well! It's obvious I am becoming sick. The others are frightened, I was almost the healthiest of us...
An accursed day! I've been getting sicker over the last few days, and Tumsa also began to get a yellow nose. They were so frightened that they left me! They took all the things we smuggled with them, except for the heavy stuff. Luckily I know of a hidden stash we placed in the last room of the grotto in a crate... If I can reach it, I will be a wealthy man.
No! No, no, no. I couldn't climb the stairs. That means I'm trapped here! I've been drinking really much, but it isn't helping me at all. By Azura, I hope I get better!
