Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Speak with Rogatus Cipius about unfriendly competition.
2. Either:
   • Accept Rogatus' assignment.
   • Refuse it twice (ends quest).
3. Go to the Hlaalu Council Company Warehouse in Narsis' Market Quarter.
4. Replace the four Iron Weights in the warehouse with Tampered Iron Weights.
5. Return to Rogatus.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Rogatus is frustrated by the behavior of the company's main rival in Narsis, the Hlaalu Council Company. He therefore asks you to engage in some unfriendly competition by swapping out the company's master weights for slightly altered ones. The idea is to damage the reputation of the Hlaalu Council Company with repeated merchant disputes.

You do have the option of refusing Rogatus' request here on the grounds that it breaks the law. A second refusal will skip this quest. If you accept however, Rogatus will give you 4x Tampered Iron Weight. Go to the Market Quarter with these and enter the Hlaalu Council Company warehouse on the east side of that neighborhood. You'll find the Iron Weights that you need to swap out in a Small Chest next to a pair of scales on the north side of the warehouse. Take those weights, and then place the tampered weights into the chest. You can then return to Rogatus for 300 gold.

• Successfully swapping the weights and telling Rogatus will boost the base value of the East Empire Company's stock by three points.
