Merlador is a High Elf clothier who runs a store in Llothanis. His relatively small range of goods is explained by the fact that he has been waiting for supplies for months, and has now reached the point where he is looking for an adventurer to track them down.
He wears an expensive shirt with matching pants and shoes. He carries 25 gold.
Aside from his natural weaknesses to fire, frost, shock and magicka, his natural bonus to magicka, and resistance to disease, he knows no spells.

If you have chosen the extravagant clothes as your reward:
- "I'm sorry, I'm not quite done with your clothing, %PCName."
- "It's done, %PCName! Here are your new tailored clothes, made from the finest materials in all of Morrowind. I hope you like them." (You receive an Extravagant Shirt and a pair of Extravagant Pants)

- "A shipment of fine cloth and supplies I ordered from Old Ebonheart has not arrived and is weeks overdue. It is being carried aboard the Elfmaid, a merchant ship that I have depended upon in the past without issue. The Elfmaid was due to call in Tel Ouada before arriving in Llothanis, but it still has yet to appear there. I've waited long enough. Can you track down the Elfmaid and ensure I receive my supplies?"
- Yes, I'll help.: "Thank you, %PCName. In case you need it, here is a letter authorizing you to take the shipment and bring it to me. You should first speak with Dunveri Rodran in Tel Ouada. He is a shipmaster there, and will surely have some clue where my fabric is." (You receive a Letter from Merlador)

If you have found the shipment but don't have the supplies:
- "If you've found my shipment, then where is it, %PCName?"
Upon receiving the shipment:
- "Excellent! I can either make you an extravagant set of clothes or pay you 125 gold pieces. Which would you prefer?" (Disposition up by 25, and removed 5 High Quality Bolts of Cloth and 10 Spools of Fine Thread from your inventory)
- I'll take the gold.: "Here you are, then. Good work." (You receive 125 gold)

You can probably pick them up tomorrow or the next day. If you stop by the shop in a week or so, I'll have a larger inventory of fine clothes to trade."
