Shrine of Solitude

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Visit the Shrine of Solitude.
  2. Offer a Noble Sedge Flower to the shrine.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

The Shrine of Solitude is, as its name suggests, not easy to find. On the western shore of Lake Boethiah stands the imposing shrine of Ald Mirathi, and just to the south is a large waterfall. Climb into the hills south of the falls until you come to their source then head a little higher until you reach the summit of the mountain. If you look around, you should find the shrine partially concealed by some small rocks.

In order to complete the pilgrimage, you must have a Noble Sedge Flower in your inventory while activating the shrine. None grow nearby, but they can be found scattered throughout the mainland and in the inventories of many apothecaries.

The quest is complete as soon as you activate the shrine and agree to offer up the flower in Sotha Sil's honor.

The normal message of the shrine is:

"Here Sotha Sil after many days meditation [sic] in the wilderness, held convocation with the heralds of Azura to seek the unseen wisdom of ages."

The message when giving an offering is:

"Temper your eagerness with resolve. Strengthen your mind through denial. Seek the path of ALMSIVI."

The blessing gives Fortify Willpower 5pts.
