Reram Vares is a Dark Elf merchant and a Retainer in Great House Telvanni. He can be found at the Laughing Goblin in Akamora, having journeyed here on business which he refuses to go further into.
During the quest Character Flaw it becomes apparent that Reram is in town at least partly to ensure the downfall of ex-Telvanni member, Ainab Guls, via means of a cursed amulet. Reram encourages you to keep quiet on the matter, and in exchange will ensure better prices for you from three Port Telvannis merchants that he call friends.
