• 66.21.90.195 (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - Blanked multiple pages, including Oblivion:Oblivion and Daggerfall:Daggerfall which he blanked again after his first round of vandalism was fixed. He also replaced words on several pages (Bloodmoon:Odd Rumor, Bloodmoon:Fort Frostmoth, User:Hoggwild5/Sandbox3). The account has been blocked indefinitely --Nephele 11:17, 31 October 2006 (EST)
• Z2fool (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - Spammed Morrowind:Morrowind with multiple hidden links to other pages (online gambling, etc). I blocked the account indefinitely --Nephele 13:07, 16 October 2006 (EDT)
• The account NepheIe (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log), not Nephele was blocked indefinitely because of vandalism, and due to the fact that the account was created solely to impersonate or attack Nephele. I must stress that the vandal's account was created with an "I (i)" in replacement of the "l (L)" to give the appearance that Nephele was vandalising the wiki, and I have not blocked Nephele. --Aristeo 21:06, 30 September 2006 (EDT)

  • I looked up this user's IP address, and Wikipedia said that it is registered to a company called "Research Machines UK" which provides a service called "Internet for Learning" for schools and public libraries. This IP is shared by multiple users, so we'll need to be on the lookout for more vandalism for the next couple of days. --Aristeo 13:05, 27 September 2006 (EDT)
  • This user made his edits through 62.171.194.37 (see user on Wikipedia).

• Shaun Cowell Y11 Bideford College Devon England (talk · contribs · Cowell Y11 Bideford College Devon England page moves · block user · Cowell Y11 Bideford College Devon England block log) has done some vandalism of Oblivion:Things to Do When You're Bored. It looks like Geistertanz undid the changes, but the changes look suspiciously like Danbrocks from yesterday. Quillan^Talk 09:53, 28 September 2006 (EDT)

  • This user made his edits through 62.171.194.44 (see user on Wikipedia).

• IP addresses 62.171.194.4 - 62.171.194.13, 62.171.194.36 - 62.171.194.45 have been blocked and set to expire in one week, in response to vandalism from Danbrock and Shaun Cowell. I don't know if Daveh enabled range blocking or not, but I blocked these twenty using six CIDR notation IP blocks. If they still can edit before the block expires, I'll have to spam the block list with those twenty addresses in standard format. (more info on CIDR) --Aristeo 11:33, 28 September 2006 (EDT)

• Murphyknows (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - Originally (June 5th) made a large number of false edits to Oblivion:Glitches, and was warned by Aristeo. Today (Sept 15th) systematically blanked most of Oblivion:Oblivion. His account has now been blocked for repeated vandalism. --Nephele 15:42, 15 September 2006 (EDT)

• Cccccc (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - Vandalized Help:Contents page. Posted overflow message with seemingly random links (could be offensive in nature, I cannot be certain as the links were all broken). Evidence. -- Booyah boy 08:06, 12 September 2006 (EDT)

Since this is another case of page link spamming, and therefore it seems unlikely that this account was setup for any legitimate purpose, I decided to block the account indefinitely --Nephele 11:20, 12 September 2006 (EDT)

Evidence - It wasn't standard vandalism, it was links to pornographic websites, probably to take advantage of our page rank. This is why he/she was blocked immediately. --Aristeo 16:14, 25 August 2006 (EDT)

Penniless Olvus

Possibly coincidence, as the name is that of a beggar in the game, but one of the vandalisms that KnucklesUK did was on the Penniless Olvus page. Quillan^Talk 18:22, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

Chuckenfucker

Hellzblade

Given the nickname the guy's using, I think we can safely assume he has nothing of value to contribute. KnucklesUK

KnucklesUK (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - This knucklehead created a whole page of ugliness at Penniless Olvus. Yep, he just put up a bunch of homophobic references on the weapons, quests, and potions page. Even made an entire quest page for what he called the Order of the Gays. I deleted all that I could find, but I can't block him. Quillan^Talk 09:40, 15 July 2006 (EDT)

Do you block the user name, or the IP address? If it's the former, what do you think is the likelihood that this one is one of the previously banned folks coming back for "revenge"? Quillan^Talk 15:14, 20 July 2006 (EDT)

Blocking a username will block the IP address that goes with it. --Aristeo 18:23, 20 July 2006 (EDT)

Not sure if this is what Quillan means, but more than likely his IP is dynamic and changes whenever his ISP has it set to do so. In that case he could have a new IP every day or 12 hours, he could also release and renew his adapter on his end, unplug his modem and hope it renews itself, or if desperate enough use a proxy. The username/associated IP wouldn't come close to stopping a determined disgruntled person from making a new account or five and hosing things down again. --AlbinoMudcrab 09:48, 28 July 2006 (EDT)
