Welcome!Edit
Hiya Noviier! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's great when we get new members. Just thought I'd send you a welcome with some helpful info. Check out the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at the Userboxes page: a near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~ (do not sign edits to articles). Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun!
SummersetEdit
I can understand the excitement that we are about to get a lot more information on the islands, but until the chapter is released the information is not "official" and cannot go in our lore section. However, there is nothing stopping you making relevant pages and adding to others in the Online namespace. Additionally, pre-release screenshots can never be used in lore, not even when it is released. Only screenshots taken after release, or artwork is acceptable. Lore Page FormattingEdit
Hey Noviier! If you are making formatting changes to lore pages, please bear in mind that a lot of lore articles are transcluded to other pages. For example, your recent addition of 'History' headers has resulted in bad formatting on Lore:Places F which will need to be cleaned up. In order to avoid this in future, you'll need to make use of the <noinclude>
tag. —Legoless (talk) 17:43, 27 March 2020 (GMT)
Pre-release ImagesEdit
Good morning! You've been doing fantastic work these past few weeks! I wanted to let you know that we have all of our pre-release screenshots archived here. Each section title has a link to a larger gallery. I don't know how many people know this page exists, but I figured I'd let you know in case you find any screenshots that may or may not already be on UESP.
Thank you so much for all your hard work! -MolagBallet (talk) 19:32, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
