Captain Saxa

Captain Saxa is a Dark Elf pirate who lives at the Bravil Bayside Inn, an establishment on the Bravil Docks. She's carrying on an affair with Lord Kildred, an Altmer nobleman (see Strange Bedfellows).

Saxa rises at 8am every morning and eats breakfast for two hours. She then heads out to the docks to wander around, taking in the sights. On Morndas, Middas, and Fredas, she returns to her room at 4pm to meet her lover; they spend five hours together, after which she goes downstairs to eat. On every other day, she returns to the inn at 7pm and eats dinner for three hours. Regardless of the day, she goes to bed (by herself) at 10pm.

She wears a dark shirt, leather greaves, and leather boots, and is armed with a steel cutlass; she has a key to her room at the Bayside Inn and two loaves of black bread.

Saxa is a cautious sort, mistrustful of strangers, but once you get her to open up, she's quite talkative. If you talk to her while she's wandering the docks, she'll greet you warily: "Yes? What is it?" If you ask her about the docks, she'll say: "They're smelly, crowded, and rotting. I love it! This is just what a dock should be like. A bit lacking in danger mind you. A real dock should have cut-throats threatening people for their money!" Asking about cutthroats will garner her opinion: "It's a living, just like any other. But you won't find such in the docks and harbours of Cyrodiil's mainland. There's still a large enough Imperial guard presence to prevent it. You have to go to one of the seedier island ports for that." If you ask about seedy islands, she says: "Yes! There are many islands off the coast of Tamriel. Plenty of places for pirates and such. Some more dangerous than others." When asked which islands she thinks are dangerous, she says: "Most of them! Hah! Even I stay clear of The Gap, there's ONLY pirates living there." If you ask where The Gap is, she refuses to say: "You don't want to know, and you should hope you never find yourself there."

If you talk to Saxa after the Strange Bedfellows quest and ask if she intends to stay with Lord Kildred, she says: "He needs me. His wife was cruel and unpleasant, he wouldn't be able to go on without me! Now that she is out of his life, he can be happy."
