Denwin is an Imperial assassin who lives in the Flophouse, a low-rent apartment building in Bravil. He's too busy to pay his rent, which annoys his landlord (see Lanz gro-Ghra's Rent Money).
Denwin rises at 4am every morning and leaves the Flophouse to walk around the center of town and watch the sun rise. He remains there all day, then heads over to the Gallows Cookhouse at 7pm for a three-hour dinner. After dinner, he returns to the Flophouse and goes to bed.
Denwin dresses entirely in black - black hood, black shirt, leather pants, woven gloves, and woven boots. He's armed with a steel dagger and carries three apples.
His room in the Flophouse holds a variety of the tools of his trade - poisons, daggers, and lockpicks - along with several books on a shelf over his bed, and numerous chests, boxes, and sacks.
Denwin appears to be mentally unbalanced, constantly spouting bad prose: "When the blade goes in, the blood begins to run, and the screams are given birth... Then, when the blood runs, the ground is drenched in scarlet life, and the light darkens as death approaches you and wraps you in his cold embrace... Death will then hold you tight as he carries you to the plains of despair where you will writhe for all eternity, surrounded by the moans of anguish and terror of the innocent!"
