Simon is a Nord publican who lives in the Converted Checkpoint Apartments. He is a pastry merchant who runs a stall in the Waterfront Tunnel, in the western wall of the southern half.
Simon gets up at 6am every morning and goes down to open his stall for business. He remains there until noon, then moves to the Arena District to sell his wares to the masses of hungry spectators. At 8pm, he closes up "shop" and returns to the apartments to sit and relax for four hours, then he eats a late dinner at 10pm for two hours, after which he goes to bed.
He wears lower-class shirt, pants, and shoes, which he changes on a regular basis, and carries a small amount of gold.
He lives in the communal area of the apartments; he has nothing more than a bed and a chest for his belongings.
Simon is hardworking and friendly. If you meet him when he's manning his stall, he'll greet you: "Heh, well hello! Welcome to my little bakery down here in the Tunnels! What can I get for you today?" If you ask if he made all his goods, he says: "I did! Baked them all up in my little oven over there! She's small, but she does the job alright! I mean, I can't meet the demands that the bigger bakeries up in the city deal with, but I provide our little city-below-the-city with all the baked goods it needs." If you catch him before or after his normal service hours, he'll tell you: "I admire your enthusiasm, but I'm afraid I've finished selling my goods for the day! Try again later, I'll be more than happy to serve you."
