Just outside the cave you will find a deer, a mountain lion and a leveled predator, as well a number of Wormwood, Clouded Funnel and Tinder Polypore plants. During the related quest, Red Diamond's tracks will appear in the snow outside, leading you to the entrance.
Boreal Stone CaveEdit
The first room is full of the resident ogre's dinner leftovers: the corpses of two wolves, a paint horse and a dead Imperial. During the related quest, the latter two are replaced by Red Diamond's corpse. The ogre itself is not hostile unless you tamper with Red Diamond's corpse. The second room is the ogre's lair proper. Near an extinguished fire are a boss chest, a dead bandit, a leveled one-handed weapon, two leveled potions, a brown bear pelt, a wolf pelt, and an assorted collection of bones. Follow the tunnel past a skeleton and a leveled potion and it will lead you back to the entrance.
