Detailed WalkthroughEdit
When you first start this quest, you will start in a forest, shortly ahead of you will be six giant skeevers, deal with them and then proceed. You will then reach an opening to a cave with a Thalmor agent standing in front of it who will tell you that the area is under lockdown due to a "heretic" being in the area. You can then either tell them you are there to rescue the heretic or ask who the heretic is, either option will start combat with them.
After fighting the Thalmor agent, head onwards into the cave where you will encounter another two hostile Thalmor agents. Once they have been dealt with, look on the left cave wall to find a hidden handle to open the first secret area which contains a chest.
In the next room, there are three Thalmor agents, one will run up to you and will have different dialogue depending on the outcome/status of the Thalmor questline, no matter which option is picked, combat will occur. Once they are dealt with, head into the next room to find Jonathan. Jonathan will give you a key to the Temple of Talos after speaking to him.
Backtrack into the previous room and go through the other hallway where you will have to fight two cave bears, after this, look for a glowing stone on the ground as it will unlock the second and final secret area.
The key can then be used for the locked wooden door, where you will enter the temple and find dead bodies of Thalmor agents with two storm atronachs hovering over them, dispatch of them, and continue on to the boss of the quest, a Thalmor Justiciar. Once the justiciar has been killed, you will have to return to Jonathan who is now standing at temple stairs, once spoken to the quest will be finished.
