Nardhil outside the North Country Stables

Nardhil is a Dark Elf ostler who tends the horses at North Country Stables outside Chorrol.

Nardhil sleeps outside on a bedroll in the stable from 10pm to 6am then. Upon waking, she takes a morning walk around the local area for two hours before spending the rest of the morning from 8am to midday raking out the stables. She stops at noon, skips her lunch, and spends all afternoon carefully scouting the territory for customers. When the sun is fading at 6pm, she sits down on the porch for a two-hour dinner. From 8pm to 10pm she walks off her meal, and then it's time for bed once more. The one exception to this schedule occurs after Bongond sells you a horse, when Nardhil will stand next to the horse until you mount it, before resuming her usual routine.

She wears a set of lower-class clothing: a belted vest, coarse linens and a pair of braided leather sandals. She is armed with an iron war axe and carries some food, a rake and some gold.

DialogueEdit

When approached for the first time, she will immediately try and lure you in and talk to Bongond:

"If you are looking to buy a horse, go inside and talk to Bongond."

If you purchase a horse, Bongond will tell you:

"Go out to the stables. Nardhil will have the Chestnut saddled and ready for you."

She will then be waiting outside the stables, with a horse by her side. When she sees you, she will comment:

"Are you ready to ride?"

If you manage to speak with her before hearing this comment (see bugs) she will instead say:

"You bought an execellent [sic] Chestnut horse. Take care of him."

When you mount the horse, she will return to her usual routine.

NotesEdit

  • Unlike most other stablehands, Nardhil is not of the "Commoner" class.

BugsEdit

  • Due to an odd script, only one of Nardhil's two post-purchase dialogue lines can be heard, and only once.
