Mourning Cave is a small cave/Daedra tower located in the far northwest corner of Mephala's realm. A set of steps carved out of the rock lead up to the entrance. It serves as the home of a sect of nonviolent monks who worship Mephala.

Zone 1: Mourning CaveEdit
The door opens to a natural tunnel, which leads downward to a small cave. Watch out here - there is a trio of gas traps in the ceiling. Beyond those, you'll find a fire column similar to those in Oblivion citadels (this is actually the base of a citadel. A daedric door leads to an upper level, where you'll encounter the monks, who have taken a vow of silence. If you talk to the abbot, he'll pass you a note - he needs some water for himself and his monks.
