Oblivion talk:Dynari Amnis

DeadEdit

I'm not sure how to do the time thingy and name and such, but what the hell. I found Dynari Amnis in Talos Plaza, on her knees, hunched forwards, and dead. I've only seen her once in the game before that, during the quest with Methrendhel (sp?). Is it possible for NPCs to attack other NPCs for no reason? — Unsigned comment by 122.105.113.43 (talk) at 07:21 on 2 April 2010

To do the "time thingy", just add ~~~~ to the end of your post.
There are several reasons that NPCs can die unexpectedly. Given that Dynari is in the Thieves Guild, the most likely possibility is that she was caught stealing. The other possible reason in this case, though it's much less likely, is that a monster got dragged into the city by either you or a wandering NPC but ended up killing Dynari instead. Reply by Moonlight over Water: Yes that's the marvellous thing about Oblivion; the characters go about doing their own thing! Morrowind was much more static. Oblivion characters interact with each other and do things you would never expect them to do! MoW

NameEdit

Dynari Amnis, to me at least, seems very much like a Dunmer name more than an Imperial name. 82.132.238.112 18:08, 7 March 2025 (UTC)

There are a number of NPCs in the game who have names seemingly suited for a different race. This is only noted if it is in some way significant. — Wolfborn(Howl) 18:43, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
Also, amnis is literally a Latin word. —Legoless (talk) 20:15, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
