Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Razum-dar returns from his rousing bout with Wormblood to inform you that he poked through Wormblood's pockets and found a key to the Corelanya Crypt: Gabrielle thinks you'll be able to learn something about Wormblood's goals if you investigate this location. It's time for you to take the Corelanya Crypt Key and go poke around some graves.
From the Sunport Docks Wayshrine, take the main road heading southeast, and continue south across the river. You'll find Corelanya Manor on the other side, and with it, the family crypt. Alternatively, you can travel to the Corelanya Manor Wayshrine and head east towards the manor. The crypt lies just northeast of the manor grounds. If you travel on foot or by mount from Sunport, it'll be the first thing on your left after you cross the bridge: if you take the wayshrine, just follow the road east until you find it. You'll meet Skordo the Knife out front: he notes that someone's been here recently. Unlock the door to the crypt and head on inside.
You'll find Search Instructions on an altar in front of a sarcophagus in the first room. It seems that Wormblood requested that his followers search for the tomb of a necromancer personally acquainted with Kinlord Istamil so he could personally question them about necromantic secrets. Head north into the next chamber, enter the room to the west, and head through the hallway on the north end to climb to the second floor. Tombs of the Kinrulers sits on a bench in the room south of the stairs. Continue across the bridge and you'll descend a staircase leading down to a warded tomb: perhaps this is the subject of Wormblood's interrogation.
Sure enough, a spirit named Arvoril pipes up as you approach. Disable the barrier surrounding his sarcophagus and speak with the irascible ghost. insert dialogue
The Gift of Death is a relic that allows one to resurrect any departed soul at the cost of a willing life. There is also a place called Mor Naril in eastern Solstice—beyond the Writhing Wall. Wormblood is drawing upon its power, which is why his necromantic magic is so powerful. With the Gift of Death in hand, Wormblood could unlock Mor Naril's full potential.
After revealing all he's willing to tell, Arvoril asks you to take the Ghostweld Crystal, which Wormblood used not only to project himself into the chamber during interrogation, but to bind Arvoril to the mortal plane. Taking the crystal would allow Arvoril to rest. Do so, and return to Sunport to give the crystal to Gabrielle. You'll find her in the Regent's Study. dialogue
Gabrielle reckons you can use the Gift of Death as bait to lure Wormblood to Broken Light Temple, where you can use the sacred Meridian bell to transport him to the Colored Rooms. There, he would be vulnerable. She suggests you convince Wormblood to trade the Gift of Death for Vanus Galerion at Broken Light Temple. Place the Ghostweld Crystal in the center of the room and talk to Wormblood. dialogue
Talk to Gabrielle after you've made the deal, then travel to the courtyard at Broken Light Temple, at the northern edge of Solstice. It's the same place you found Gabrielle during The Stirk Fellowship. Talk to Prince Azah once you arrive.
The fellowship has restored the sacred bell, and hung it over the gate. Your job is to strike it when Gabrielle begins to cast: doing so will create a powerful pulse of Meridian light that Gabrielle will use to trap Wormblood. It will also send the courtyard and everyone in it to the Colored Rooms. Azah tells you to pick a champion who will fight alongside you in the Colored Rooms: you have a choice between Skordo, Razum-dar, and Walks-in-Ash. Once you've chosen your champion, pick up the Bell Mallet from the southern wall and get into position.
Wormblood arrives not long after with Vanus Galerion in tow. meeting dialogue
Strike the bell on Gabrielle's cue, and everyone below the bell disappears in a flash of light. Enter the portal that appears in the center of the courtyard to travel to the Colored Rooms for the confrontation with Wormblood. The plan worked, but everyone is scattered. You and your chosen companion will need to traverse the realm and find Wormblood before he has the opportunity to take the Gift of Death for himself.
Eventually, you'll find Vanus Galerion stuck on a ledge. When you approach, he calls for Gabrielle, who comes to his aid: insert scene
