In the tangled paths of Cath Bedraud, I found the bodies of a Lion Guard officer and his patrol.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Find a dead Lion Guard Officer at Cath Bedraud.
- Report the news to Commander Ales at Lion Guard Redoubt.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
When you approach the gates leading into the cemetery proper at Cath Bedraud, you'll see a frozen Lion Guard Officer among a pile of other corpses. Examine the corpse. He's carrying a leather folio with the name "Ales" written inside, containing a missive and a map with a nearby fortification marked on it. This soldier's commanding officer might want to know where he is.
Head to Lion Guard Redoubt, located southwest of Cath Bedraud. You'll find Commander Marone Ales on the southwest side of the camp, near a guild kiosk called Redoubtable Deals. Give him Lieutenant Jascien's Last Missive to receive a small reward.
NotesEdit
- This quest is only offered if you have not started The Lion Guard's Stand.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
