Hephimus Sansalas is an Imperial sailor, and deckhand of the Imperial Navy. He is held below decks on the Galisa's Pike at Mundrethi Plantation's slave market, where he has been held for some time - he claims that this is because the captain is having trouble finding someone sane enough to buy a soldier in the emperor's service.
He can be freed by use of the key held by Captain Galisa in the ship's cabin, but will only be able to leave once the pirate crew themselves are dead.
These good-for-nothing pirates thought they could sell me to slavery. But no sane plantation owner would ever buy a sailor of His Imperial Majesty's Navy! So, I've been here for weeks... waiting for them to figure out what to do with me. But now you're here, stranger. Do you have the key to these damn bracers, so I can go free?
