The Imperial Navy represents the might of the Septim Empire on the sea. It is divided into a West and East Navy, with the East Navy watching the waters around Morrowind and Black Marsh, and out in the Padomaic Ocean. Since the disaster at Ionith in Akavir, the Navy has been on the decline. While several galleons, such as TEM Princess Morgiah still ply the seas (with TEM standing for 'Third Empire of Man'), lighter craft are in favor around the Inner Sea.
In Tamriel Rebuilt, the Navy is primarily concerned with protecting trade in the Inner Sea, with other operations directed out of the naval base at Thorn, in Black Marsh. The highest in-game rank is Admiral, with two currently existing within the mod. These are Kuvir Shoal-Flare in Firewatch, and Potemus Marolus in Old Ebonheart.
