When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Show PreviewEdit
Welcome to our wiki, Dunmer Lord 15! We are glad to see your enthusiasm for editing. However, you have just made multiple changes to your user page without using the show preview feature. Please understand that every edit you make requires patrolling, and our poor patrollers are already overworked! As such, it is better to make one large edit with multiple uses of the show preview button than make multiple smaller edits. - Hi Nocte, just mentioning this for good measure. It's not Dunmer Lord's fault for not making one large edit like you suggested. He just created his account yesterday, and is still blocked by the bulk filter. He brought this up to an admin here, where he was told to make smaller edits.

- When you click the "show preview" button, it will show how the page would look if saved without any further changes, and the edit box will still be on the page beneath the preview. You can then continue to make changes without opening another page, and save when you are ready. You can use the show preview button as many times as you need to before hitting save. — ABCface◥ 23:33, 20 August 2013 (GMT)

User BoxesEdit
Hi all. I was just wondering of anyone knows how to make a user box because I don't really understand the tutorial page and when I try to copy one of the user boxes it doesn't work. Please help :( and an example would be great. Thanks. Dunmer Lord 15
- It's pretty easy to make a userbox. This is how your template should look:
{{Userbox|#color1|#color2|[[File:Image.format]]|This user is trying to make a userbox.}}
- Now the first color is the background of your userbox, and the second is the color of the edges and behind the image (I think). The image is used as an icon, and then next is the description. You can find a list of colors here. I think the userboxes page gives clear examples. If there's anything in particular you don't understand about it, clarify what it is. Also, your own talk page is not the best way to contact people for questions. And some good advice: look at other pages, in this case click someone's userpage's edit button, and then see how they wrote it up ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 18:20, 20 August 2013 (GMT)
