When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Rilver ThelasEdit
Should this page be Tamriel Rebuilt:Rilver Felas or Rilver Thelas? The image and text say Thelas, but the page name is Felas. :) Jeancey (talk) 18:53, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
Image Categories and RatiosEdit
Hey Presto, I have noticed you have been uploading alot of images but that you do not put them in categories. Could you please do that in the future? To make it easier, you can activate the HotCat gadget. This can be found in the preferences section under the Gadgets tab. When it is activated you will be able to scroll down to the bottom of a page click the + symbol to add a new category for the page. Or you can type it directly into the summary when you upload. Here is an example [[Category:Tamriel Rebuilt-Place Images]]
The second thing that I have noticed is you tend to upload everything at a 1:1 ratio, this is recommended for NPC images but for things like Place Images we do allow other ratios which are stated here: Help:Images.

New Year, New AwardEdit
You have been given a shiny gold star! Here's a new award to go with your other two, since it's been a little while. I see your name in recent changes all the time updating Tamriel Rebuilt pages, and they're always full of new content and changes between versions that are hard to keep track of. The namespace would be a lot further behind if not for your work. Thanks! —Dillonn241 (talk) 03:03, 2 January 2024 (UTC) |
Field of View Settings for ImagesEdit
Hi Jinks, just wanted to let you know that the field of view settings you have are a little extreme for taking photos. For example, this photo of Nivalis looks very distorted. I may replace a few of them here and there, but hopefully you can tone down the FOV for future screenshots. Feel free to replace any you see that look extra distorted, but don't make it a priority, by any means. —Dillonn241 (talk) 03:30, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- Agh, now I've seen it, I can't unsee it. I'm guessing I've knocked my OpenMW fov setting out of whack somehow. I'll take a look and will normalise the field of view before taking more images. Thanks for the heads up. - Jinks (talk) 13:22, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- No problem, and again, don't worry too much about it. The Tamriel Rebuilt images especially are going to be neverending updates. By the time you've taken the image, two years later something will have changed to justify retaking it anyway. All we can hope for is to have the best image we can get at the time we're taking it. —Dillonn241 (talk) 13:36, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
