When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

You have been given a Fishy Stick! Your dedication and diligence to the wiki has not gone unnoticed. A user has seen the progress you've made, and has given you a Fishy Stick because of it. Good work! The user had the following to say:

- Thanks for the stick! Wound up taking a lot more time than I thought doing all that but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel until I reach back where I'm currently at in the game so I can do it as I play along, phew... --Lexion (talk) 05:37, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- Of course! We've been missing a lot of that info for over 10 years now, so its great to finally have it on the wiki! Be sure to take breaks if you need to and do things at your own pace, there's no rush. Oh and for minor edits, usually marking edits as minor are only for small stuff like grammar changes and small formatting fixes, so when adding a skills section you don't need to mark it as minor, but of course it is your own discretion whether you want to do that, just figured I should let you know just in case. And thank you again! The Rim of the Sky (talk) 18:40, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah no stress, but I do tend to get tunnel-visioned once I start doing sweeps like that so it can't really be helped. Noted as well for the minor edit, I figured since it was mostly copying over skills from the class pages it wasn't the biggest edits (detail-wise, not size) and didn't want to bother people that aren't disabling minor edits in the recent changes, will do so going forward. --Lexion (talk) 18:46, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

Need help ?Edit
Hey bud You're doing tremendous work with ESO NPCs info. At that speed I'm guessing you get the data from game's files right ? Are you going to do them all or do you need help for some ? Because I wonder if I have to continue to update NPCs pages when you do all the work and I have like Status Effects and Skills images to do too. ^^ Thank you. --BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 18:39, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hey! No I'm not going off the files for my edits, I'm currently playing the game, at Northern Elsweyr currently, so most of it is fresh in my mind and for some more blind spots I use recent videos on Youtube. So I'm editing what I can NPC-wise until I reach back where I'm currently at in my playthrough, at which point I will continue editing along at a slower pace as I continue playing. So feel free to continue with what you're doing, especially for content that's after that. --Lexion (talk) 18:43, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
RE: Mod HeaderEdit
Hi, the Mod Header is not used solely to state which DLC introduced the NPC and nothing else, that is incorrect. It is used to list every DLC a subject can appear in. The River Troll example is from an overlooked mistake, it should have been updated with subsequent DLCs added to the Mod Header, but never was. An example is the Library of Incunabula page headers (albeit it is an extreme example); I've restored what you removed from Stone Atronach as an example of how it should look. Part of this is to let readers know what DLCs they'd need to have access to in order to encounter something. If you do not want to put all DLCs at the Mod Header at the top of the page, then using Template:Mod Note is acceptable, I've updated the Ashur page to demonstrate this. Using only Template:ESO DLC is not an acceptable substitute and is misleading as the Header still lacks this information. If something from a DLC appears in the base game in a later update (ie. no need to purchase anything to encounter it) then the Mod Header can be removed entirely (see how this page looked before you started editing). This is how the Mod Header has worked in the Online space for years; if you saw something that did otherwise prior to your edits, it is because of an oversight or mistake. This is not my opinion, this is the practice the wiki has had in place for years now, I'm only addressing it now as it seems to have been glossed over and gone unnoticed by others due to the heavy quantity of your edits. Thank you for your time The Rim of the Sky (talk) 06:07, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not exactly sure how the River Troll case was an overlook mistake, when almost every page I've seen so far was setup this way, hence why I was applying it this way moving forward with my edits. It gets especially confusing now when the generic table becomes involved and how that is meant to be handled. In that case, I will be doing a sweep of DLC enemy pages and see where I can update this. --Lexion (talk) 06:14, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- I get what you mean. Small details like this can be tedious sometimes, and while its important to keep things consistent, it can of course be a hassle to keep track of. There's a lot of editors before you who weren't fully informed about the standards, so there's a lot of things that have slipped through the cracks and a lot of pages that never got properly updated, its not really anybody's fault its just what happens sometimes in big projects. The generic table is new and a good addition but there was never any discussion about how it would work in the grand scheme of things, particularly with Mod Headers. Personally I don't think its a perfect system, and the game is always evolving so our way of documenting things also changes up over time, if you want to propose a change of some sort you're welcome to bring it up on a discussion page. Thanks for understanding The Rim of the Sky (talk) 07:54, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Well I handled this the same way Lexion did for the same reasons xd. Like the only pages with multiple mod-headers we both edited are the ones related to Volcanic Vents in High Isle/Firesong.--BixenteN7Akantor (talk) 09:10, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- I have now seen that Legoless has reverted a few that I edited last night, stating that there are too many headers, which is unclear now how much is too many. Now those pages (ex: Iron Atronach), have no Mod Headers at all, which doesn't feel great either. Kinda feeling like a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. --Lexion (talk) 14:57, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

AlphabetizingEdit
Hey I noticed you're reorganizing some of the pages of npc characters or enemies in terms of related quests, I was originally organizing the quests based on alphabetical order by letter. Raren (talk) 22:01, 15 December 2024 (ET)
- Hi! I just want to preface here I'm not editing your stuff in a mean-spirited way, and it's not my intention to edit war about something like this, I'm just applying the way alphabetical order is on the rest of the wiki from what I've seen (and has been for a long time judging from the edit history on those pages) when it comes to quests that start with things like "A"/"The"/"Of". These quests are instead placed starting with the next fuller word (ex: The Dragonguard's Legacy would prioritize "Dragonguard" instead of "The"). Locations pages with extensive lists of related quests are a good example, like the Alliance starter cities. --Lexion (talk) 03:06, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
