Welcome!Edit

LongfinEdit

Hey! While you were doing Messages Across Tamriel, did you perhaps make note of which race Longfin is? No worries if you didn't: in any case, she now has a page.

Thanks for all the work you've done on quest dialogue! -MolagBallet (talk) 03:01, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello! She's a Nord Armiger. Thank you very much for making the page! I'll add it in. -Raren (talk) 22:07, 7 February 2024 (EST)
I failed to see this in a timely manner, but thank you! -MolagBallet (talk) 04:50, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

ThanksEdit

New Page RequestsEdit

Hey there! Thanks for all your New Page Requests. Note that it is only necessary to use New Page Requests if you were prevented from creating the page yourself, which should only be the case for new and anonymous editors. Given that you have been making good edits here for over a year now, I don't think that applies to you anymore, so please do go ahead and create any new pages we need yourself! --Enodoc (talk) 21:15, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

-Thank you very much for letting me know, I've been putting all these new page requests since I was unable to have permissions to create new pages. --Raren (talk) 15:52, 9 March 2025 (ET)

Adding ImagesEdit

Hi Raren! Thanks for all the new ESO NPC images you've been uploading; it's great to have these, much appreciated!

Please note, though, that we do have a standard naming convention for image files. For ESO NPCs, the filename should take the form of "ON-npc-<NPC name>"; for creatures it would be "ON-creature-<creature name>", etc. If you could follow this naming convention when uploading images, that would be great.

Also, we do prefer that images follow certain guidelines for aspect ratio if possible. For NPCs, we usually prefer 1:1 images. If you already have a bunch of images with a different ratio, go ahead and upload them, as having an image is better than none at all, but if you could keep this in mind in the future it would be appreciated.

Thanks again for all your contributions! It's always good to see you around! — Wolfborn(Howl) 02:15, 19 April 2025 (UTC)

Hey there, thank you for letting me know about the standards for uploading images. I usually don't upload images so this is kind of new for me and plus I've been meaning to upload these images in npc pages that were missing photos for awhile. In the future, I will try my best to follow the guidelines for uploading photos!

Much appreciated, thank you! The Rim of the Sky (talk) 03:02, 19 April 2025 (UTC)

() Regarding the images you are uploading, I can see you are not adding the categories. If you don't have the HotCat widget you can copy-paste [[Category:Online-NPC Images]] when adding the NPC images.--Talyyn (talk) 01:12, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for mentioning that, I've been too focused on trying to post the images that I didn't realize that was a thing that I need to after finishing uploading them. I'll do my best to remember to include the categories.

Just with categories (I forgot to add this in last message) use [[Category:Online-NPC Images]] rather than {{Category:Online-NPC Images}} latter also adds the image to Category:Online-Images, not just Category:Online-NPC Images.--Talyyn (talk) 03:53, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
This is a very small request, but when naming images that have (brackets) at the end, would you be able to put a space between before the brackets, for example instead of "ON-npc-Tyss(hornless).jpg" it would be "ON-npc-Tyss (hornless).jpg". Its a very minor thing, so don't worry to much about it, I just figured I would let you know now instead of later. And thank you for all the image uploads, they're a big help :) The Rim of the Sky (talk) 03:13, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
I can try to putting the space in between brackets when naming images. Uploading images for ESO npcs that are missing images for the longest time is a nice break from having to quest from start to find missing dialogues :D

Fantastic, thank you! The Rim of the Sky (talk) 03:47, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
