Imperial Governor tablesEdit

I don’t understand your insistence on putting these on Empire pages. Lists of governors on Wikipedia are usually included on the province pages that they governed, not the pages of the empires. Can you please explain to me why you think that the list of governors should be on the Empire pages instead of on the province or city pages? Savirien-Chorak (talk) 19:29, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

Governors are important to the Empire so they should be on the page of their Empire. If we're going to compare to Wikipedia then why have you not removed the tables of known Emperors? Wikipeida has them separate after all. Also Wikipedia also has to source All The Information Of The World. UESP has far fewer sources to work with, and thus less need to separate information on topics. Why is this on my talk page instead of one of the Empires like I had already left one on the Third Empire before I had done some of the edits —Lich King Arthas Menethil (talk) 19:40, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

The reason that I haven’t removed the lists of emperors is because they are more relevant to the empires than a list of random governors. Also, some Wikipedia pages have lists of rulers, like the Greco-Bactrian Kingdom page, Liao dynasty page, Western Xia page, Tsardom of Vidin page, and Kingdom of Romania page. I am not saying that the governors are not important, but I don’t see any reason to include them on the empire pages when it would make more sense to include them on the pages for the provinces and cities that they governed. To say again Wikipedia also has to source All The Information Of The World (which for some states can be from hundreds to just over a thousand of years). UESP has far fewer sources to work with, and thus less need to separate information on topics. The Governors are relevant to their Empire pages and can easily be on both their Empire and where they governed. Lich King Arthas Menethil (talk) 16:40, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

I don’t see how Wikipedia having to cover more information means that the tables of governors should be included in our empire pages. The pages covering the empires are about the empires as a whole, while the governors on those lists are relevant to the specific provinces, regions, and cities that they governed, not the empire as a whole. There is a reason why the Elder Council, Imperial Legion, Imperial Navy, etc., have their own pages and are not included on the empire pages. Also, for the Cyrodilic Administration page, I envisioned it as being about Imperial administration and including the table of imperial governors, kind of like the Elder Council page.
