Elidor is a High Elf knight and Associate of the Fighters Guild. Along with his two colleagues, Rienna and Brag gro-Bharg, he has been sent to Desolate Mine to clear out the goblins that have prevented the miners from doing their jobs. As good as their intentions were, they're in desperate need of some weapons, and that's why Burz gro-Khash needs you to make a delivery as soon as possible.
Elidor does not exist prior to the related quest.
He wears an almost complete set of iron armor: boots, cuirass, gauntlets, greaves, and helmet. He carries whatever weapon you provided him with and a small amount of gold. He knows the standard knights spells from the school of Illusion.

The Desolate MineEdit
You will find all three of them gathered around a lit campfire in the first large cave of Desolate Mine, never eating nor sleeping, eagerly awaiting the weapons shipment from the Guild. When you approach him for the first time, he will only point you towards team leader Rienna:
- "Good that you made it. You should talk to Rienna."
After her briefing, he will be a lot more talkative:
- "Ahh... you've got the weapons. Let's talk about that weapons shipment you brought."
- Goblins
- "Filthy animals. Some of my kinsmen are partial to them, but I find them reprehensible."
When you present him with the weapons shipment, he will imply that his weapon of choice would be the steel longsword you're holding:
- Weapons Shipment:
- "Excellent! I long to sink a blade into some goblin flesh."
- Give sword.
- "A blade. Fantastic! Let us take the fight to these vile creatures."
- Give hammer.
- "Ah... a hammer. Well. Not my first choice, but it will suffice. Let's go!" (if you have given it to Brag)
If you ask him about the weapons again, he will dismiss you:
- "No more needed for me. I have this fine blade with which I'll slaughter some of these miserable beasts."
- "I have a weapon now... this hammer. Not my usual weapon choice, but it will have to do. Let us slay these creatures."
Once you have provided everyone with weapons, he will happily charge off:
- "Let's clear this mine of those goblins."
After the slaying he will be more than satisfied with the results:
- "Well done, my friend. This mine is once again safe for the miners."
- Goblins
- "It is good we've taken care of them, though they smell worse dead than alive."
He will then remain within the mine indefinitely with his associates, if they are still alive.
RumorsEdit
If Elidor dies during the related quest and Rienna doesn't, she will mourn him:
- "Well, they're all taken care of now. It's a damn shame about Elidor. He was a fine swordsman. You should head back to gro-Khash now. Thanks."
- "Well, they're all taken care of now. I can't believe we lost Elidor and Brag. Head back to gro-Khash. He won't be happy, but these things happen." (if Brag also died)
Burz will also be less than pleased:
- "Well, you got the weapons there, but there were casualties after. Do better in the future, or don't come to me for work."
Members of the Fighters Guild will further mention him in conversations among themselves:
- "Too bad about Elidor. The Guildmaster pays funeral expenses, doesn't she?"
NotesEdit
- Elidor has lines of dialogue in case you didn't have the weapons with you. As they are quest items, however, this will never happen, and you will thus never hear the lines:
- "I know you were supposed to bring the weapons, but it seems you don't have them. Quickly, get those weapons to us!"
- "It doesn't seem you have a hammer, or any of the weapons for us. Please, get those weapons as soon as possible."
- "It doesn't seem you have a sword, or any of the weapons for us. Please, get those weapons as soon as possible."
- He also has two lines he would have used if you'd offered him a weapon which you had already given to his colleague. However, the relevant topics are never available.
- "A sword would be wonderful. Unfortunately, it appears you don't have one. It looks like you have a hammer, though."
- "Ah... a hammer. Well, it seems you don't have one. However I see that you have a longsword...."
BugsEdit
- If you are arrested and sent to jail after the related quest is complete, he and his colleagues Rienna and Brag gro-Bharg will appear outside the castle upon your release.
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 1.0, fixes this bug.
