Rienna is a Redguard champion and a Protector of the Fighters Guild. Along with two associates, Elidor and Brag gro-Bharg, she has been sent to Desolate Mine to clear out the goblins that have invaded the mine. As none of them brought any weapons, Burz gro-Khash needs you to make a delivery as soon as possible.
Rienna does not exist prior to the related quest.
She wears an almost complete set of chainmail armor: boots, cuirass, gauntlets and greaves. She carries ten steel arrows and will, after you have delivered the weapons, be armed with a steel bow. She carries around the mine key and a small amount of gold.

The Desolate MineEdit
You will find the three of them gathered around a lit campfire in the first large cave of Desolate Mine, never eating nor sleeping, eagerly awaiting the weapons shipment from the Guild. When you approach Rienna, she will be relieved:
- "You must be the reinforcement from the guild. Good. I hope you brought weapons for us."
- Goblins
- "Horrible creatures, and they've made this mine too dangerous for the workers. We're going to have to get rid of them."
When you present her the weapons, she will be delighted:
- Weapons Shipment
- "You've made it, and just in time. We've got trouble with goblins here. I'll take the bow. You give the weapons to my other two men."
- "Get the weapons to the other men. Then we'll take care of the goblins."
Speaking to her again will net you:
- "Give those weapons to the men, and let's get moving."
When everybody is equipped she will rush head first into the mine and start battling the goblins.
Once all goblins are slain, depending on how many casualties were suffered she will greet you with one of the following:
- "Well, they're all taken care of now. Good work, there, soldier. Get back to gro-Khash and get your payment."
- "Well, they're all taken care of now. It's a shame we lost Brag. I'll miss the ugly bastard. You should head back to gro-Khash now. Thanks."
- "Well, they're all taken care of now. It's a damn shame about Elidor. He was a fine swordsman. You should head back to gro-Khash now. Thanks."
- "Well, they're all taken care of now. I can't believe we lost Elidor and Brag. Head back to gro-Khash. He won't be happy, but these things happen."
- Goblins
- "Looks like we got them all. Good work, soldier. The miners will be able to get back to work. You should head back to Burz and find another contract."
When the mission is over, she will stay in the mine indefinitely along with her associates, if they are still alive.
RumorsEdit
If Rienna dies during the related quest, Burz will be less than pleased:
- "Well, you got the weapons there, but there were casualties after. Do better in the future, or don't come to me for work."
Members of the Fighters Guild will mention her when talking among themselves:
- "You know where they're burying Rienna?"
NotesEdit
- Rienna has dialogue lines for a greeting and the goblins topic, which she would have spoken if you'd asked her after delivering the weapons and before all the goblins are dead. As she almost always engaged in combat and thus unavailable for discussion, it is very unlikely you will hear them.
- "We've got to clear out all these goblins. I'll let you know when we've gotten the last of them."
- "There are still more out there; I swear I can hear them. Be on your guard."
- Similarly, she has another line of dialogue if you asked her about the weapons shipment after delivering all the weapons. As she will charge off almost immediately, it is very unlikely you'll manage to speak to her and hear it.
- "Good. Now everyone is armed. We're going to have to clear the goblins out of this place before the miners can return. Let's go."
- Rienna also has lines of dialogue in case you didn't have the weapons with you. As they are quest items, however, this will never happen, and you will thus never hear the lines:
- "You've made it, and just in time. We've got trouble with goblins here... but where are the weapons? Get them and get back here! Quickly!"
BugsEdit
- If you are arrested and sent to jail after the related quest is complete, she and her colleagues Elidor and Brag gro-Bharg will appear outside the castle upon your release.
The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 1.0, fixes this bug.
