WalkthroughEdit
This quest is difficult to get, since the map you need is on Ma Syd Jun - you'll have to steal it from him. If you do, you'll get the first quest entry. The map has a riddle on it which tells about a djinni's lamp. The lamp is located in the desert in the southern part of Mephala's realm, not far east of Surazal's Tomb. Pick it up, and you'll get a journal entry. If you activate it, a djinni will appear and grant you three wishes; you can choose from the following:
- Lots of gold: You gain 30 bottles of water.
- Take me to a place of distraction: You're teleported to the House of the Dancers.
- A magic word: The magic word is ELAMBRI! (You'll need this word to gain access to the Hidden Temple).
- A horse: The horse Farago appears at your side.
- Weapon of immense power: You acquire a Djinni's Quill.
- Secret knowledge: You acquire one of three notes leading to a hidden treasure (the choice is random).
- Where can I receive eternal life?: Only under Mephala's wide sky, Master.
- A worthy gown: You gain a Mephala Priest's Robe.
- Mephala's favor: Activates all the shrines to Mephala.
- An ideal companion: You acquire a whistling skull.
You can only make each wish once; once you speak all three, the lamp disappears and the quest completes.
Journal EntriesEdit
Forgotten Servants (ODDDesertDjinnWishQuest) | ||
---|---|---|
Stage | Finishes Quest | Journal Entry |
10 | On Ma Syd Jun, I found a note containing a puzzle. It speaks of a fortress which is embraced by a crescent moon, the Surazal, and a liberated spirit. | |
50 | I'm at the place that was described in the riddle that I acquired at Ma Syd Jun's. Before me is a lamp that seems to be damned old. It's made of gold, but it's pretty dirty. Maybe I can clean it somehow? | |
75 | Player says a wish | |
100 | I have used up all the wishes. The djinni and his lamp have vanished into thin air. |
- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ODDDesertDjinnWishQuest stage
, wherestage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
