DlarshEdit
He has been making good edits, and he is already checking the recent changes page, so I figure why not? Dlarsh has good spelling, grammar, and knowledge of the games. Finally, he has also been active in the IRC channel recently, which is a plus in my opinion.--Ratwar 01:28, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
(He's already accepted this nomination via IRC, but I'll ask him to so again on this page, to make it official.)

- Support: I was planning to nominate him myself very soon, because he's certainly shown the traits a patroller needs. It's also good to have another patroller knowledgeable about Morrowind. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 07:34, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support: I was planning on nominating him sometime in late November, so at first I found this nomination to be a tad premature. After talking with him for a little bit, I came to the conclusion that he was ready to be a patroller. –Elliot talk 02:28, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support: I've already punched Ratwar for getting to this nomination before I did, so now I'm free to vote ;). Dlarsh has been a great contributor and a big help with watching the Recent Changes. No problems here! –Eshetalk 16:19, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support: I've only been back a few days, but by looking at Dlarsh's previous contributions, I think he will be of great help. It's a yes from me. --SerCenKing Talk 18:52, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support: A big "yes" from me as well. --Krusty 18:57, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support: It's been a joy patrolling complicated edits, only to find that Dlarsh has already jumped in and handled it nicely. One more support here. --Timenn-<talk> 19:05, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- Support: Ditto everyone else; his contributions are both good-faith and high-quality, so I have no worries knowing his edits are automatically patrolled. --GKTalk2me 04:15, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Wolok gro-BarokEdit
I would like to nominate Wolok gro-Barok as a Patroller. Given that he has over 1500 edits to his name, with just over half in the Oblivion namespace alone, and his generally helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable attitude towards new and established users alike, I really think he deserves it. His dedication to the site over the past 7 months can hardly be questioned, and his contributions have improved it greatly. Dlarsh(Talk,Contribs) 16:42, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

- Support: Wolok has been a big help around here for a while now, and frankly he's already doing the job, which is a great sign. It'll be great to have another patroller to keep an eye on things when US/Canada people are sleeping! –Eshetalk 00:07, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- Support: Wolok has been doing a great job; his edits are sound, and he appears to have the desirable tendency to learn from constructive criticism. He's doing the job, and the more good patrollers we have, the better. --GKTalk2me 00:55, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- Support: It would be great to have another pair of hands working through the unpatrolled edits. And as of now, there is no one better to be nominated. –Elliot talk 03:39, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

PLRDLFEdit
I nominate PLRDLF because he has demonstrated both an expansive knowlege about Daggerfall, but also because he has, by virtue of his numerous and correct edits to Daggerfall, demonstrated his dedication. He has created patch files, as well as created several score new pages for NPC's and quests, all of which are correct. The wiki would be considerably improved if he were selected as a Patroller. He is both motivated to do a proper job and competent to do a proper job. I hope the community will welcome him aboard. --Uniblab 03:53, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
VotesEdit
- Comment: I'd love PLRDLF to be a patroller but he has shown no interest in it himself, and his previous nomination was closed as a result. –rpeh•T•C•E• 08:41, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
ClosedEdit
After a month, PLRDLF has once again shown no interest in his nomination, so we can't move forward with it. Therefore I'm closing this nomination.--Ratwar 17:02, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
KrustyEdit
NominationEdit
I have decided to nominate Krusty due to his growth since his past nomination. The main concern brought up by other editors last time (including myself) was his grasp of the English language. If you take a look at his contributions ever since the closing of his last nomination, you can see a definite improvement with his grammar. There is the occasional slip up, but we all have those. After a somewhat lengthy talk with him, he decided to take some pointers which I use myself. I suggested that he, first of all, proof read his work. Since he is one of the few editors whose edits are incredibly lengthy compared to the average user, simple mistakes can easily be fixed by slowly looking over the information. Another thing I suggested was an in-browser spell-check. This is something I use quite often, because I can type pretty fast and miss something. The final thing I suggested was that he ask someone else or look it up. I am a native speaker, and I continue to discover new things every day.
So with these things, I have no doubt his grammar will no longer be a concern of mine (aka his edits being automatically patrolled). Also, I know he can help out tremendously with verifying the content of new edits. The last thing I can think of is his location: he will be able to help out while us Americans are asleep. I no longer see why he should not be a patroller. But since this is a second nomination, I think it would be best if he answered just one question. –Elliot talk 06:44, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

QuestionsEdit
-
- After the No Consensus result of your last nomination, what did you do to better yourself and your grammar in preparation for a potential renomination?
-
-
- Well, after my last nomination (which caused a heated, but relevant discussion) I decided to take the criticism seriously. The grammar issue was the main factor, so I slowly started to adjust my writing somewhat – most importantly, by using the build-in grammar-check in Word (not always completely reliable, but better than nothing) – but also by proof-reading a few more times. Sometimes even sleep on it and go through the whole article once again after waking up. Please understand, that when you have spent hours upon hours following an NPC around, researching every action in detail, you are getting tired when you reach the writing stage – which in the past meant, that I posted the pages somewhat “fast”, just to get it out of my head. I believe I have managed to correct that, even if the occasional typo can sneak in every now and then (like typing 8pm when it’s actually 8am) – but I’m only human, and we all do that. But all in all, I think I have “nailed” it pretty good – and have improved.

- As I mentioned during the last nomination, I am convinced I could contribute a great deal to this Wiki. I will not rush in and patrol edits which lies outside my range of knowledge – and will not start doing complicated grammar correcting. But I know a ton about Oblivion, about NPC behavior and all the questlines – I like to research in-depth, even if it means several hours of work – and given the free-lance nature of my real life work, I have the time to do it. -- Krusty 07:35, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
