ErorahEdit
Erorah (talk+ • contribs • edit count • logs • email)
Erorah is a wonderful user, who does great work (and a large amount of it) with ESO furnishings. She knows more about furnishings than most of the people who would be patrolling said edits. She is currently a User Patroller and easily qualifies for full patroller status. Given her work with furnishings, she is extremely knowledgeable about template usage, images, and overall much of the more technical side of the wiki. Like Legoless above, this nomination is also partially of self interest, as I often patrol Erorah's edits without ever having to make changes. She works well with others, and I think would make a wonderful patroller.
VotesEdit
- Support: Great pick for a specialized ESO patroller. —Dillonn241 (talk) 00:45, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: A long time coming, I support the nomination.--Talyyn (talk) 12:35, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Erorah is a fantastic editor who has helped the wiki in such a major way. Every interaction I've had with Erorah has been very pleasant, she is incredibly kind and open to discussing things, and is not afraid of trying new things (I particularly like the image compilations she makes on furnishing pages). I recall that one time when I needed to take a photo of a statue furnishing in ESO that Erorah owned, she moved it around wherever I requested and waited with me for brighter sunlight lighting to arrive just so that we could get a good shot, which I greatly appreciated. She has singlehandedly documented such a large area with excellent editing quality. I would be delighted to welcome her to the team! The Rim of the Sky (talk) 19:39, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Everytime I see an edit made by Erorah is one that I know I can just autopatrol. She is hard working, precise, and a diligent editor. I mean, just look at her spreadsheet about ESO furniture. That kind of secure work and dedication is something we could all learn from. --Ilaro (talk) 10:01, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: A highly knowledgeable ESO editor who has done Herculean work on our furnishing documentation, something that was previously poorly documented. —Legoless (talk) 22:12, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
TarponpetEdit
Tarponpet (talk+ • contribs • edit count • logs • email)
Tarponpet is a prolific lorespace editor and has been a userpatroller since January. As can be seen from his userpage, his primary focus on the wiki has been the Bestiary, which he has essentially overhauled over the course of the past two years. To me this shows a deep understanding of the wiki's style, and a willingness to revise and improve existing material in addition to drafting new prose. He also has experience across a number of other namespaces (notably ESO and General), and he has contributed many high-quality images to the site. To be honest I am partly making this nomination out of self-interest, since I constantly find myself reading through his (dozens of) lorespace edits and inevitably marking them all as patrolled. His edits rarely have any issue in terms of style or substance, and with his deep lore knowledge I think he would make an excellent patroller.
VotesEdit
- Support: Tarponpet is a diligent editor with a great attitude. His edits are thoughtful and well-considered. Highly deserving of the nomination.Tyrvarion (talk) 11:31, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: He does alot of needed edits and new pages for the lore bestiary section. He deserves this nomination--Talyyn (talk) 12:45, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: As per above. Mindtrait0r (talk) 15:27, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Everything I've seen from him aligns with what everyone else has said. Additionally, I've gathered some images on request for lore pages and the interactions have always been a fun collaboration. Thuraya Salaris (talk) 00:45, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: He always does good work. It will be good to redirect patrolling efforts toward other lore edits that really need a double check. —Dillonn241 (talk) 02:20, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Tarp has done an excellent job documenting information and always goes above-and-beyond. He is always very open to listening, discussing, and learning new things; he is very kind, a gentleman, and an all-around pleasure to have. His work on the Bestiary is incredible and successfully took it out of the standards of 2010 and updated it to a much more pleasant modern rendition that is much more thorough and far easier to navigate. His dedication and the care he has put into his projects has been of great net benefit to the wiki as a whole. I would be delighted to welcome him to the team! The Rim of the Sky (talk) 19:39, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Tarp is great and does good work for the bestiary and other pages. --ErfXploded (talk) 21:37, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
MikeprichardEdit
Mikeprichard (talk+ • contribs • edit count • logs • email)
Mike has been an editor for almost 5 years and has contributed a wealth of high-quality edits since then, across multiple namespaces (Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, even Daggerfall). Most recently, he has been doing some excellent work bringing OB place pages up to standards: correcting information based on CS research, fixing formatting, making walkthroughs flow much better, ensuring cross-site consistency and generally cleaning up spelling and grammar. His edits have consistently been of high-quality and demonstrate a very strong attention to detail and grasp of the CS. In the past couple of months he has also been applying this more to looking through the Recent Changes page and checking/correcting edits, giving him a taste for the role. I'm certain he'll make good use of the patrolling tools and be a strong addition to the team.
- Comment: I accept this nomination, and appreciate the consideration! --Mikeprichard (talk) 11:08, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: As nominator. --SerCenKing (talk) 08:46, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Mikeprichard is a great candidate for this role! --Ilaro (talk) 11:27, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Between his attention to detail and his eagerness to learn, Mikeprichard is certainly patroller material. —Legoless (talk) 11:35, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: SerCenKing summed it up well. Mikeprichard is a thorough, diligent and dedicated editor and an excellent candidate for patroller status. — Wolfborn(Howl) 13:29, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: No question about it. I've only seen consistent, high-quality edits. --UnknownG (talk) 16:38, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: As has been said. Mindtrait0r (talk) 16:49, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Great eye for detail. I've worked with him on several page revamps, and he's found more corrections to my edits than I'd like to admit. —Dillonn241 (talk) 17:40, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Mike has done a lot of great work in maintaining older gamespaces and has an excellent understanding of wiki formatting. The Rim of the Sky (talk) 23:25, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support: I have no issues with this nomination. If Mike wants to do it, go for it.--Talyyn (talk) 03:57, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
UnknownGEdit
UnknownG (talk+ • contribs • edit count • logs • email)
UnknownG has been on the wiki for over seven years and has held Userpatroller rights most of that time. He has focused especially on adding missing content and bugs from the main series, and making regular spelling, grammar, and consistency edits. His edit stats show how evenly he spends his time among the Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim namespaces—a valuable trait for a patroller. More specifically, I like the level of technical know-how he's shown in finding and verifying game data. If you dig into his contribution history, he has a good eye for spotting bad edits from IP users and reverting them.
I'm sure he will benefit from the tools patrollership provides, and likewise, help tackle some of the more difficult edits to patrol in the main series.
- Support: As nominator. —Dillonn241 (talk) 05:49, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: If UnknownG accepts the nomination, then I'm glad to give my support. I feel we'll get two great new additions to the team with these two nominations. --Ilaro (talk) 19:59, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: UnknownG has proven his reliability. With his technical prowess and diligent work in verifying information across at least three games in the series, I think this nomination is well-deserved. I've hardly seen an edit from this user that I've felt needs correction: he's more than capable for this role. If he'll accept it, I'll wholeheartedly support this motion. -MolagBallet (talk) 20:10, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: If he accepts, I'll definitely support. An excellent editor with sound judgement and a good eye for detail. Can't recall many of their edits where I've had to correct something. His experience in the Oblivion space will also be great. --SerCenKing (talk) 20:49, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support:Diligent and reliable.Tyrvarion (talk) 20:52, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: UnknownG has consistently demonstrated superb editing and judgement skills across the board, he will do an excellent job as patroller. The Rim of the Sky (talk) 21:55, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: I was holding off on supporting this until UnknownG accepted before I realised he already has! This nomination is far overdue, an excellent editor with plenty of experience on the site. —Legoless (talk) 22:11, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
WolfbornEdit
Wolfborn (talk+ • contribs • edit count • logs • email)
Wolfborn has been an incredible asset to UESP for a long while now. He cleans up vandalism as it happens, warns IPs, posts on the admin noticeboard, welcomes new users, and all the edits I review from him are patroller-quality edits. He clearly monitors the Recent Changes pages already, to an extent not unlike any other patroller. View his edit history, and you'll see he's well rounded in scope of namespaces.
He was offered a nomination to patrollership three years ago and turned it down due to his concerns about having to be active. I believe he's as consistently active as we can expect a patroller to be, and the fact that he was offered patroller so long ago shows that he has met and exceeded the qualifications.
Should this nomination be successful, I will also grant him Blocker rights, as I believe the patroller+blocker combo best suits his style of monitoring Recent Changes. He's been doing all the work of a blocker without having the ability to put a stop to it himself.
- Support: As nominator. —Dillonn241 (talk) 05:49, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: As a long-time user of, and contributor to, this wiki, I consider it and honor and a privilege to be nominated for Patroller status, a nomination which I am happy to accept. — Wolfborn(Howl) 07:12, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: This nomination has been a long time coming! Very proud of Wolfborn, they have a great understanding of wiki formatting and will do a great job as a patroller/blocker to curb vandalism. The Rim of the Sky (talk) 07:16, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Wolfborn has been diligent and reliable, not only with his contributions to wiki pages, but also with the general upkeep of this site. Thankful that he has accepted the nomination this time. Salamangkero (talk) 09:59, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Wolfborn is an exemplary editor: I have no doubts that he'll take to this role naturally. -MolagBallet (talk) 18:06, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Perfect candidate for a nomination, should've been autopatrolled a long time ago. --Ilaro (talk) 19:59, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Another very good and incredibly diligent editor, who is already looking over Recent Changes quite a bit. They are willing to both dig into specific issues and to put a shift in on formatting, copyediting etc. As with UnknownG, most of their edits I look over are great. Another excellent adding to the Oblivion space. --SerCenKing (talk) 20:49, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Honestly thought he was one already with how professionally he handles himself. Mindtrait0r (talk) 00:09, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Wolfborn is already doing the work of a patroller. An easy support for me. —Legoless (talk) 19:16, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Wolfborn is a diligent and professional editor and has long been monitoring Recent Changes and handling many tasks, would be an excellent patroller! --Oriwa Talk 13:12, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
