WelcomeEdit

Thanks for the welcome! I noticed you fixed some of my links on the Netch Leather page; I apologize if I caused any extra work for you. —O-a11y (talk) 20:30, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Page ProtectionEdit

Thanks for noticing that Skyrim:Dragonborn was unprotected. Usually, when a page moves, the protection moves with it, but that was a custom change and was therefore missed. I ran my old bot, which is still responsible for page protection at this point, and it caught the moved page as being linked from the sidebar, so it's all good now! Never would've thought of it if you hadn't mentioned it, though. Robin Hood(talk) 21:21, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Thank you (and HotnBOThered) for taking care of that! I'm glad I could help out in some way. --Oriwa Talk 21:30, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Bloodmoon: Tree StoneEdit

Hi Oriwa

I notice that you added Hirstaang Forest to the Region section of the Tree Stone template, thus making it appear as if the stone is part of two different regions. I was curious as to your reasoning for doing so. Checking in the Construction Set, the Tree Stone is located in cell (-22,21) which is defined as "Solstheim, Isinfier Plains". While it may be close to the border of the Hirstaang Forest as mentioned in the article (in fact, the only non-Isinfier Plains cell surrounding (-22,21) is (-23,20) to the southwest, which is defined as "Solstheim, Broder Grove"), the game data does place the stone within the Isinfier Plains region. Since a single cell cannot be defined as part of two different regions, I believe including Hirstaang Forest in the Region summary is inaccurate and somewhat misleading technically. Any enlightenment you can provide as to your reasoning is appreciated. Thanks! — Wolfborn(Howl) 12:07, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi Wolfborn. The region parameter used to say Hirstaang Forest but it was recently changed by an anonymous editor to Isinfier Plains, and I wasn't sure which was correct. Notably the Tree Stone is listed in the place section of Hirstaang Forest but not Isinfier Plains. Since the Tree Stone is described on its page as being on the border of the two regions, I thought the best compromise would be to put both regions in the template. If the Construction Set says it's in the Isinfier Plains then I do agree with having that being the only region listed (and the Hirstaang Forest/Isinfier Plains pages probably need to be updated as well). --Oriwa Talk 20:23, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. I saw that anonymous edit as well and checked the CS at that point to find that it was a legitimate correction. I've edited the page to clarify the Stone's location as per Construction Set data. And thanks for pointing out that the Hirstaang Forest / Isinfier Plains pages needed corrections as well; I've updated those to reflect the correct location of the Stone. Cheers! — Wolfborn(Howl) 00:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Congratulations!Edit

Per your successful nomination, you are now a patroller! With this comes the ability to patrol edits in a much wider area of the site. Consider reviewing Patrolling Guidelines for how to patrol. You may also now add the User Patroller userbox to your userpage (I'd also highly encourage you to make a userpage!!!). Additionally, if you would like access to the patroller channels in Discord, please reply to this with your full Discord username (including the discriminator, the numbers that appear after your username). Congratulations, once again! --AKB Talk Cont Mail 13:20, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Thanks, AKB! My username on Discord is Oriwa#6311. And I'll definitely get around to creating a userpage soon :). --Oriwa Talk 17:08, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Congratulations!!! You'll do great! And welcome to the world of red exclamation marks! Jeancey (talk) 18:20, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello!Edit

Hi OriwaK, thanks very kindly for leaving that nice summary in my talk page! I am new to editing... why is it that when I leave a signature, it is not a clickable link for people to contact me if needed?

And sorry for cluttering up your user talk page with an entire section just for this! Sheesh (how else to do less conspicuously?) Cheers! eslofe 00:25, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

In your Preferences, under "Signature", turn off the box that says "Treat the above as wiki markup" and that should fix the issue. Robin Hood(talk) 00:33, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
No problem! And yep, what Robin Hood suggested should work. --Oriwa Talk 00:58, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks both kindly! eslofe (talk) 01:17, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

ns_baseEdit

Hi! Rather than adding the ns_base param to the Creation Club citations on those lore articles, it would be much more helpful to move those texts to lorespace and transclude to SR. I've undone your ns_base additions so that this can be done. —Legoless (talk) 12:54, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for letting me know. I noticed that many of the texts were notes and journals, so I didn't think they would be getting lore pages. I have no objection to that though, so I'll move them to lorespace. --Oriwa Talk 02:01, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
