When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Removal of informationEdit
Hi TheVampKnight. Rather than removing long-cited information from pages like this, it would be better if you could add a {{fact}} tag to the statement pending verification. I see that a discussion has been started on this matter but it doesn't sound like we have any concrete information one way or another at present. —Legoless (talk) 09:06, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
Multiple EditsEdit
Hey TheVampKnight! First off, I want to thank you for all the work you've done on Lore:Vampire and other related pages today; it's really appreciated. Having said that, though, can I ask that you try and combine multiple edits into one whenever possible, please? To cut back on the edits, you can use Show Preview, or if it's because you're worried about losing your work, just copy-paste it to a local file until you're sure you're done for the time being. It'll save our Patrollers a lot of work. Thanks! – Robin Hood (talk) 03:09, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- I appreciate it, I do use preview quite a bit, though some of my edits are because I do make mistakes or have indecisions. So sometimes I need to go back even if I think its perfect, or I messed something up, and not trying to make the patrollers job harder. I'll try and be more careful, as I do care enough to not make it harder for you guys. (TheVampKnight (talk) 03:14, 2 January 2021 (UTC))
- Everyone does these things from time to time, no question about it. We just tend to notice more when it's a lot in a short timespan. Thanks! – Robin Hood (talk) 03:16, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Alkhan / Alduin: I'm ConfusedEdit
Hi VampKnight
I saw your reversion of my reversion of your anonymous reversion of your original edit on this lore page (are you confused now too? :P ). I also saw MolagBallet's reversion of your change to the Alkhan redirect. So now I'm confused: if the Alkhan redirect points to the Alkhan lore entry, why should the Alkhan link on The Wandering Spirits page point to Alduin? Shouldn't it point to Alkhan as well? (That's why I reverted the anonymous edit.) I'm not trying to be argumentative here, I just don't know enough about this area of lore to follow what's going on. — Wolfborn↝(Howl) 01:41, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- Well, Alkhan is the Khajiit version of Alduin basically, its lore that was introduced with Dragonhold, the change I made before, was I was adding in lore links for the Khajiit Malacath and Alduin, So I changed the redirect Teddy had for the Alkhan to link back to Alduins page because that is who that deity is going by its lore, and I changed the link, to go to Alkhan in that one book which would redirrect to Alduin's page to match up with many of the other links. Teddy reverted my Alkhan redirect thing, so I went back and changed the link back to the way it was before my edit on that one book.TheVampKnight (talk) 02:40, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Edits to https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:KhajiitEdit
Can you at Least correct the grammar or read them before reverting? the randomly tacked on "They possess phallic barbs" is arbitrary and vague but the attribute itself is not specific to set fur stocks as far as we know. (I stand corrected) — Unsigned comment by Do'Abhi (talk • contribs) at 11:22 on 18 March 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't do well with Grammar and not the person to fix those types of mistakes. I don't know what the intent was with the changes there. I did look at it, before I reverted it. We do know some furstocks have the trait but two devs have actually spoken about this subject, they are the ones that created the Khajiit and made their lore in the Bethesda games. One dev has stated only some have the trait. Another dev has said only three furstocks have the trait, and one of the devs stated something to the effect he made it that way because he decided that is how it was going to work. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/General:Gary_Noonan%27s_Posts https://en.uesp.net/wiki/General:Douglas_Goodall%27s_Posts talk about it. What the change was implying was all Khajiit males have this trait when we have Uol sourcing that directly says otherwise and no ingame sourcing that states all Khajiit males have this trait. That is why I reverted the change.TheVampKnight (talk) 11:35, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
WarningsEdit
Please remember to assume good faith before issuing warnings to new users. I have deleted the warnings you issued to the two IPs as they have not vandalised the site or added any nonsense. See WP:Please do not bite the newcomers. —Legoless (talk) 13:05, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- You are right, and I agree, I shouldn't have done that, I'll try to be more considerate of newcommers, and yeah he does seem to generally want to help when it was pointed out to me and I should have looked into that more and payed better attention.TheVampKnight (talk) 13:13, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for the invitation!Edit
