Leamon Tuttle (known to some by the nickname Lemon Turtle)[1] was the lead loremaster for The Elder Scrolls Online. He joined the ESO team at ZeniMax Online Studios on August 31, 2010[2] as a content designer,[3] doing generalist work including concept artwork for fabricants, pets, and the like.[4] He was a writer on post-launch zones, working as a senior writer-designer for Morrowind and Summerset[3] and was the principal writer on both Clockwork City and Murkmire.[5] He assumed the lead loremaster role in March 6, 2019 following the departure of Lawrence Schick,[5] and retired from the position on April 29, 2022, being succeeded by Michael Zenke.[6] He remains at ZeniMax Online Studios, working on a currently unannounced project.[7] Though he has a youthful appearance, Leamon is currently in his 30s and is happily married, and has two kids.
Tuttle majored in History and Philosophy in college and initially entered the game development industry with the intention of getting into game art, but instead wound up moving into the writing department. He has occasionally appeared as a guest on episodes of ESO Live and has answered community lore questions as part of the Loremaster's Archive series. Among his favorite characters are Sotha Sil, the Drake of Blades, Paarthurnax, Almalexia, and Daedric Princes. He has an Argonian Nightblade in The Elder Scrolls Online.[8]
