Iron Hide is a crafting material obtained from animals in any zone by characters with Rank 7 in the Tailoring passive or 40 to 60. One animal may yield one to two pieces of the raw material, Iron Hide Scraps. Once ten scraps are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Iron Hide. Refined iron hide is used for making medium ironhide armor at any of the clothing stations. For you to be able to create ironhide armor, your Tailoring ability needs to be rank 7.
