Jackals are territorial canines found in the deserts of Hammerfell and Elsweyr.
There are two types; jackals with a small silver coat and light beige undercoat, and jackals with a large silver coat and dark orange undercoat which have more health. The latter are often found with other jackals near them, and can also summon more themselves.

- Bite
- A basic attack dealing minor physical damage.
- Rotbone
- The jackal lunges and bites down hard, dealing moderate damage. This can be blocked to set the jackal off-balance. (Light fur only)
- Helljoint
- The jackal bites and holds onto its target, dealing constant low damage and immobilizing them. Bashing gets the jackal off of its hold and puts them off-balance. (Light fur only)
- Call of the Pack
- The jackal backs up then howls, summoning two weaker jackals to come assist. (Dark fur only)
