- "We have word that there's something odd going on in Cyrodiil. Soldiers and generals going missing from every alliance. Odd magical phenomena. Whispers of a secret fortress called the Exiled Redoubt. That sort of thing."
- And if I can handle more than that?
- "Confident talk doesn't impress me. Competent fighters do.
Rumors say the Albus familiy is operating the redoubt. They're a long line of fearsome wizards. Plant our banner before you fight Cato Albus and then I'll be impress." - I pledge to seek out the Exiled Redoubt and return Undaunted.
Once you have accepted the quest, you can enter the Exiled Redoubt dungeon either by accessing the dungeon through the Dungeon Finder, or heading to Hew's Bane and entering the dungeon there with a group. You have the choice of entering the normal dungeon or the veteran version, this choice will affect if you can achieve the optional step and your rewards.
When inside the dungeon, you will need to progress through the dungeon, slaying the following bosses, Executioner Jerensi, Prime Sorcerer Vandorallen, and Squall of Retribution. With the last boss, if you are in the veteran dungeon, you have the option of placing the challenge banner to put the boss in hard mode, provided you have placed the challenge banner on every prior boss that has it available.
Once you have completed the task, you can return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any of the Undaunted Enclaves, and speak with her to complete the quest:
- Yes. I stopped the Albus family in the Exiled Redoubt.
- "I should've guessed what they were up to. It's only a matter of time before a noble goes mad when things don't go their way.
I wonder if you'll still be around the next time a noble loses their good sense. Would you ask for a reward then?" - I suppose we'll find out. / What's my reward for defeating the Albus Family in the Exiled Redoubt?
