An Apocalyptic SituationEdit

Rogatina will be encountered northwest of the crafting writ turn-in boxes in Belkarth. When you approach her, she will say "The Dread Lady described you well. Come speak to me." speaking to Rogatina [verification needed — context] :

"Have you heard the words of the Dread Lady? Would you like to?
Come back later and I promise you'll be impressed."

You can start the quest through the Crown Store or finding Rogantina in your alliance's capital city:

"So you're the mortal adventurer the Dread Lady seeks? I assumed you'd be, well, taller. Still, my mistress knows best.
I bring you a message from Lyranth, the lovely and powerful Dremora. Hear the words her prophet speaks and be enthralled."
"Ah, adventurer. The Dread Lady has told me about your exploits at her side. Lyranth considers you to be quite competent, for a mortal.
Now hear the words of her prophet and be enthralled. I bear a message from my lovely and powerful mistress."
[verification needed — see talk page]
"Ah, adventurer, this is your lucky day. Where once the Dread Lady sent my pitiful brother to convey her words to you, this time Lyranth has sent her true prophet. Me.
I bear a message from my lovely and powerful mistress. Listen and be enlightened."
[verification needed — see talk page]
A message from a Dremora? What is it?
"The Dread Lady requires a mortal's perspective. She finds the situation merely curious, but says it has apocalyptic consequences for our plane of existence.
Congratulations, mortal. She has chosen you. And she promises compensation, if you survive."
You seem rather calm about delivering an apocalyptic message from a Dremora.
"Calm? I suppose. But I have faith in Lyranth, and she seems to have faith in you. I'll mark the destination on your map. Plus, I secured transportation—the regal Sweet Daffodil.
Oh, and take this pendant. You'll need it when you get there."
All right. I'll let Sweet Daffodil take me to your Dread Lady.

After you agree to help, you can continue speaking with Rogatina and ask her some questions:

"Sweet Daffodil will whisk you directly to the location. Once there, you must get past the creatures that roam the place to find Lyranth's hidden lair.
The pendant will alert you when the time comes to use it. Then just follow the trail of energy."
How will the pendant reveal Lyranth's hidden lair?
"Isn't it obvious? The pendant contains an epiphany bloodruby. It tingles when it senses residual portal magic. Use it and it will lead you to Lyranth's lair.
How ironic. She chose you to assist her. Not her prophet, but you. A heathen adventurer."
You remind me of Rogatus Cinna. (Completed the Blackwood Prologue)
"Please. I am nothing like my insipid older brother. Nothing at all.
I am the Dread Lady's true prophet. Her voice resounding in the mortal realm. Her herald on the plane of Nirn."
Rogatus also claimed to be Lyranth's prophet.
"My dimwitted brother claims to be many things. The Dread Lady and I allow him his delusions. Makes it easier to get him to accomplish the few tasks that aren't beyond his limited skill set.
You should feel honored that this time my mistress sent me."
So, besides delivering messages for the Dread Lady, what does a prophet do exactly?
"Speaking the words of some higher power is the standard definition of a prophet. And there is no higher power than my mistress, no matter what the other temples or shrines may tell you.
I do whatever the Dread Lady asks and am honored to do so."
Tell me more about Lyranth the Dremora. (Haven't met Lyranth before)
"What can I tell you that you can't already guess? The Dread Lady is a powerful Dremora. Perhaps the strongest of her kind. She has served Daedric Princes but now walks her own path. She possesses a burning curiosity, forever seeking more knowledge."
Aren't Dremora evil? Why should I help her?
"Do not attempt to apply finite morality to an infinite being. Lyranth simply is, and right now she's interested in learning more about a danger that threatens all of Nirn. By helping her, you can save our world.
No pressure or anything."
Lyranth the Dremora and I go way back. (If you have met Lyranth before)
"Yes, I am aware of your relationship with my mistress. It may not be as intimate as mine, but she does seem to have a certain … fondness for you.
Still, we must not use her name so casually. Enemies abound and mortals become skittish so easily."
Lyranth is fond of me?
"Oh, not in any romantic or mortal interpretation of the word. Not even in the way a child is fond of a puppy or kitten. Dremora aren't like us. You must have realized that by now. But my mistress finds you … interesting. Yes, that's the word."
You mentioned enemies?
"A group of Dagonists known as the Order of the Waking Flame has been interfering in my mistress's activities of late. They are of no real concern to her, but I don't want to attract their attention.
I suggest you take similar precautions."
Sweet Daffodil is an unusual mount, isn't she?
"That she is. Although gender isn't what you imagine when it comes to classifying Daedric entities.
It took a lot of effort to summon her to this plane, just to provide you with convenient transportation. My mistress insisted, however. So I complied."
Is it safe?
"Sweet Daffodil would never harm a fleshfly, let alone a favored curiosity of the Dread Lady.
But just to be on the safe side, I suggest not getting too close to her fiery bits."

If you somehow leave Lyranth's lair before completing your task there, you can approach an annoyed Rogantina who will let you use Sweet Daffodil again:

"What are you doing here? You should have summoned the portal and joined my mistress Lyranth in her secret chamber by now.
Luckily, I kept Sweet Daffodil around for such a contingency. He'll whisk you back to the delve in the blink of an eye."
(?)

Otherwise, Rogatina will not be encountered again until you and Lyranth teleport from the Waking Flame Camp to the Marbruk Outlaws Refuge. As you approach Lyranth's small workspace, Rogantina will alert Lyranth:

Rogatina Cinna: "Mistress, the adventurer approaches!"

Speaking with Rogatina before Lyranth:

"You dare speak to her lowly prophet when the Dread Lady herself stands nearby? I'm surprised she hasn't flayed you alive for such an insult!
Go. My mistress has words for you."
What are you doing here, Rogatina?
"Following the orders of the Dread Lady, of course. She sent me to her hidden lair to retrieve the body of this vile cultist. He deserved even worse for daring to raise a hand against my mistress!"
What does Lyranth want with a corpse?
"You seek to understand the desires of the Dread Lady? Blasphemy! Ours is not to puzzle out the whys and wherefores of Lyranth the Dremora. Ours is but to do whatever she demands of us.
Whatever. She. Demands."

The Key and the CataclystEdit

Rogatina with her mistress in Marbruk Outlaws Refuge

When you escape from the Waking Flame Camp, Rogatina will be waiting with Lyranth within Marbruk Outlaws Refuge. She has retrieved the corpse of Devastator Rullen and will stand nearby while you speak to Lyranth to begin this quest. Speaking with Rogantina throughout the stages will give different greetings but the rest of the conversation will remain the same:

Before starting the quest:

"Bow in the presence of the Dread Lady, adventurer. Grovel and be blessed by her penetrating stare.
Oh, and she still requires your assistance, so you should talk to her."
If Lyranth has you, why does she need my help?
"Right! Exactly! I ask myself that very same question all the time. It even keeps me up at night. But in the end, the answer I come to is always the same.
Lyranth is perfect in every way and I can't fathom her reckonings."
How did you become Lyranth's prophet?
"Well, not by responding to a notice on a job board, if that's what you're asking.
My brother and I sought knowledge. A higher purpose. When Lyranth appeared to us and demanded we tell her where to find a sweetroll, we knew we found our calling."
Your calling?
"How else would you refer to it? Lyranth summoned me and I responded. Now I hear her words and share them with the world!
Well, clandestinely. Some people don't respond well to outright worship of Daedric entities."

After starting the quest:

"You heard the Dread Lady. Get on with your mission.
I'm quite certain she'll provide me with something even more tantalizing to accomplish. Something truly befitting a prophet of my status. You'll see."
If Lyranth has you, why does she need my help? (Same conversation)

After you've retrieved the ingredients:

"You have the components my mistress sent you for? Then add them to the cauldron.
Quickly! Never make the Dread Lady wait when she demands satisfaction."
If Lyranth has you, why does she need my help? (Same conversation)

After placing the ingredients into the cauldron:

"You dropped the items in the cauldron. What a spectacular accomplishment.
So why are you talking to me? I'm just the Dread Lady's humble and devoted prophet. She wants to speak to you, her chosen mortal."
If Lyranth has you, why does she need my help? (Same conversation)

Before drinking the potion:

"Hmm. I saw everything my mistress added to that bubbling cauldron. Funny, I'm no longer quite as envious of your role in all this as I used to be.
I understand it goes down easier if you hold your nose before you swallow."
If Lyranth has you, why does she need my help? (Same conversation)

Once you have drunk the potion, you will be transformed into the mirror image of Devastator Rullen:

"Not that I would ever doubt my mistress, but you do look exactly like the cultist. A little more lively, but otherwise it's a perfect match.
I'm counting on you to keep the Dread Lady safe in there, understand?"

When you and Lyranth escape from the Waking Flame Base, Rogatina will show concern for her mistress:

Rogatina Cinna: "Mistress, you're injured!"
Lyranth: "Nonsense! Merely a scratch."

She will yell at you if you talk to her before finishing the quest:

"If Lyranth suffered any lasting injuries on your latest excursion, you will answer to me!
Now go talk to my mistress. She has words for you."

If you talked to Lyranth but haven't turned in the quest, you can speak to Rogatina who will continue making hilarious threats to you:

"My mistress looks terrible! If you turn out to be the cause of her discomfort, I will hunt you down and strike you repeatedly about the head. Repeatedly!
Now go talk to Lyranth. The Dread Lady has more to say to you."

Once you've talked to Lyranth and completed the quest, Rogatina is not too happy to keep you around:

"Why are you still here? The Dread Lady is done with you for now and she needs her rest.
If she requires your assistance in the future, I'm sure she'll find a way to get a message to you. Now go."

The Celestial PalanquinEdit

If you first arrive in Fargrave via the portal from Leyawiin, Rogatina will hail you as you emerge.

If you have never met:

"Yes, you're the one. I'm certain of it. The Dread Lady was quite specific, though her description made you sound more imposing. No matter. I bring you a message from my mistress, Lyranth the Dremora!"
Go ahead and deliver your message.

If you met during a prior quest:

Rogatina Cinna: "You there! I bring tidings from the Dread Lady!"
"I thought we were done with you, but no. My mistress Lyranth has once again sent me far and wide to bring you an important message.
Shall I impart the words of the Dread Lady now, or would you rather wait until after the Dagonists destroy the world?"
Go ahead and deliver your message.
"The great and powerful Lyranth requires the assistance of a chosen mortal. That would be you, by the way. Among other things, I can tell because of the way your hands are glowing.
This concerns the ongoing threat of the Order of the Waking Flame."
The Order of the Waking Flame?
"Fanatical followers of Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of Disaster. While my mistress is merely curious, she has learned that the cult's plans pose a grave threat to the mortal world.
Will you assist Lyranth? She will compensate you, of course."
All right. I'll go meet Lyranth. Where in Fargrave should I look?
"Meet my mistress in the Oblivion city of Fargrave, outside the southern gate. Lyranth said she would wait for you there.
Hurry, chosen mortal. The fate of both Fargrave and Nirn hang in the balance."
Before I go, tell me more about Fargrave.
"Some of the locals call it the Celestial Palanquin, but most know it simply as Fargrave. It's a city somewhere in Oblivion, sitting on a nexus of a multitude of realms. That's one of the reasons the place is so popular. It connects to everywhere!"
Still serving as Lyranth's messenger, Rogatina?
"The correct term is prophet, you heathen adventurer.
But yes, I still gladly and happily serve my mistress, the Dread Lady. And I have important tasks of my own to perform, if we're done here. Go on. Lyranth doesn't like to wait."

Destruction IncarnateEdit

After completing the Celestial Palanquin in Fargrave, Rogatina can be found in the city if you haven't started the next quest. She will call you over as you approach, "You are requested to appear before the Dread Lady, adventurer."

Speak with Rogatina to hear the message:

"Adventurer, my mistress demands your presence. You do still carry the encoded note you recovered in the bathhouse, I hope? For your sake."
You know what happened at the bathhouse?
"Of course. My mistress tells me everything. I am her prophet, after all.
Now hurry. Lyranth and the Anchorite are waiting for you in the Bearer's Rest. It's an inn here in Fargrave."
What's the rush?
"Oh, just a little something I like to refer to as the end of the mortal realm.
You do remember the Waking Flame? You may have momentarily put a stop to their plans, but unless you get that note deciphered, their ultimate goal remains a mystery."
All right, I'll go to the Bearer's Rest and talk to Lyranth.

Speaking with her again:

"Go on, mistress Lyranth awaits you in the Bearer's Rest.
That encoded note you found isn't going to decipher itself, you know."

Against All HopeEdit

Return to Fargrave after defeating Nokvroz and seemingly all of Fargrave has turned out to celebrate your victory:

"Once again, my mistress, the Dread Lady, Lyranth the Dremora, deigns to share her infinite wisdom with a chosen mortal.
Why she continues to choose you, I have no idea. No matter, are you prepared to hear the words of the Dread Lady?"

Hope Springs EternalEdit

Join the celebration at Leyawiin Castle:

"Have you seen my mistress? Lyranth, the Dread Lady? I've looked everywhere. Has she … forsaken me?"

After Eveli gives her speech:

"My mistress, the Dread Lady, gone? And she didn't take me with her? What did I do to displease her? More importantly, what did you do to make her leave? This is all your fault! It has to be!
Or maybe this is a test? Go away. I need to ponder."
