A Dremora

Dremora are an intelligent, humanoid Daedric race that despises mortals. They refer to themselves as the Kyn. While Dremora are commonly associated with Mehrunes Dagon, various clans can be found serving most of the Princes, though some of the clans are not aligned with anyone and act as mercenaries in Oblivion.

Dremora society operates in a rigid caste system with an emphasis on loyalty and clan ties. On the other end of the scale are the "Clanless", individual Dremora that for any number of reasons are not part of any clan. These individuls can be looked down upon depending on their situation.

When multiple clans are serving the same Prince, intense rivalries can form. An example of this would be the Deathbringer and the Foolkillers clans that serve Molag Bal, which resulted in the latter being reduced to a single being.

The Xivilai and Xivkyn are races similar to the Dremora.

The Dremora have a chance to drop the Void Alloy Rivets antiquity lead for the Spaulder of Ruin.
