- From a pure health per magicka standpoint, Close Wounds is generally the most efficient healing spell once magicka not regenerating while a spell is being cast is accounted for. It becomes more efficient than Healing once you have about 70 magicka. Obviously, for smaller amounts of health, Healing may be more efficient regardless of level.
- Can be a reward for completing Pilgrimage if Restoration skill is at least 40.
