Welcome!\^_^/Edit
Hello Ufd43765! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! —Skyrimplayer 00:22, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Unexplained deletion of interior notesEdit
You have removed several of the notes on the Skyrim:Markarth People page without leaving an edit summary. Are you doing this because you believe that they can't die during the No One Escapes Cidhna mine quest? I reverted the one for Kleppr because I personally experienced his death on my playthrough. --Xyzzy Talk 04:37, 16 October 2012 (GMT)
Link AdditionsEdit
Hi, I'm not trying to be problematic or just dismiss your edits. I'm glad that you're taking an interest in the site. However, adding too many links can clog up a page, and they are unnecessary when there are already the same links within a few sentences nearby. So thanks again, but please check before adding something you think is missing. :) --Vulpa 03:07, 8 January 2013 (GMT)
Show PreviewEdit
Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to multiple pages by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. —Vely►t►e 00:42, 12 January 2013 (GMT)
Edit SummariesEdit
Hiya Ufd43765! We appreciate all your contributions so far, and hope you continue editing on the wiki. :) If you could please get in the habit of entering something in the edit summary box to explain the changes you have made to a particular page when editing, that would be awesome. It's really helpful to other users watching the Recent Changes page to be able to see what was done at a glace, and it makes for a helpful page history too. Thanks so much! — ABCface◥ 03:55, 19 February 2013 (GMT)
FrosselEdit
This is the third time you have removed the "never respawns" tag from the Frossel page. The CS clearly shows that it should never repsawn, so can you explain why you have changed it (i.e. in-game experience). PS: This is why ^edit summaries^ are encouraged. Ore veins in Skyrim:Forgotten ValeEdit
Hi, you added the ore veins in Skyrim:Forgotten Vale a few weeks ago (see here). I found some additional Gold, Moonstone and Orichalcum ore veins and put them into the map. I just couldn't manage to find 3 Malachite and 2 Silver ore veins what you apparently did. Is there any chance that you can remember the position of the missing veins? --84.176.148.7 11:13, 15 March 2013 (GMT)
- Hi again, I found the rest and added them into the map. Sorry for bothering and have a nice weekend! --84.176.185.220 18:33, 15 March 2013 (GMT)
Strong AdviceEdit
Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki. If you would like to experiment with how to edit, you may want to try editing in our sandbox. Adding false information, or falsifying existing information, to UESPWiki articles disrupts those pages and forces other editors to spend time cleaning them up. You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 14:36, 29 March 2013 (GMT)
Further detrimental edits to Dragonborn:Frossel will result in a warningEdit
Hello, Ufd43765. I think it's time you stopped what is effectively an edit war on Dragonborn:Frossel regarding the respawn parameter. Four times in four months, you have tried to change the parameter, and four times your edit has been reverted. Your change contradicts the game data, and no one else has tried to make this change but you. If you could explain your reasoning here or on that talk page, that would be great. But regardless, your edits have now reached the level where you are disrupting the site. If you continue to try and make the change without proper explanation, you will receive a formal warning, after which we would have to resort to a block. For all I know, the data really is wrong. I'll check on that soon; if it's wrong, I'll change it myself.
And, a reminder: please use edit summaries. I can see just from your talk page that you've repeatedly engaged in the unexplained removal of content on other pages, as well. You don't have to write a novel or anything, but it's courteous to other contributors to leave a record of your change so they can have a general idea of why you made the edit without having to look through it. Thank you, and I hope you'll continue contributing positively to the UESP. Minor EditsThreats•Evidence 02:52, 11 April 2013 (GMT)
- Since I see you've never used an edit summary in your entire history, and it's been a moderately active history, can I suggest turning on "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" in your preferences. That'll help remind you to add them. – Robin Hood (talk) 04:55, 11 April 2013 (GMT)
Afflicted RespawningEdit
In regards to this edit, have you tried leaving Bthardamz during The Only Cure and seeing if the Afflicted outside respawn? I know the ones inside don't, but from what I can see in the game data, the ones that are outside should be able to if you leave for long enough. – Robin Hood (talk) 04:34, 11 April 2013 (GMT)
- I've confirmed that the outdoor Afflicted respawn. – Robin Hood (talk) 21:45, 13 April 2013 (GMT)

Shrine of Talos on Solstheim?Edit
I see you have added an entry on Skyrim:Shrines of a Shrine of Talos in Solstheim. Could you please specify a bit more, as I have not found any shrine there, even after much wandering around searching. I could have needed one there. —MortenOSlash (talk) 18:32, 13 April 2013 (GMT)
- There are no active Shrines of Talos that I can see in the game data. I even did my best to look for inactive ones, and didn't find anything there either. The only shrines I see in Solstheim are the ones for Kynareth and Zenithar, already noted. If there's anything we've missed, as MortenOSlash said, we'll need detail so we can verify the information. – Robin Hood (talk) 19:45, 13 April 2013 (GMT)
Voice types and respawningEdit
Hey, just wanted to inform you that voice types were already added to all NPCs by a bot and should be correct. In addition, creature and NPC respawn info is on their respective pages, though the creature template does not currently display that information. Vely►t►e 20:53, 19 April 2013 (GMT)

Editing and AdviceEdit
Your second block has finished today, so I want to take some time and try to guide you to better using the UESPWiki. Over the course of your wiki-life so far you have made many valuable edits, yet numerous "false" edits. The sheer quantity of these false edits, added to the complete lack of interaction on your part (either through talk page messages or edit summaries), led the community to conclude you could only mean harm by these edits. Having to conclude that an editor who has made good edits was deliberately vandalizing the wiki was hurtful to all who were involved.
This is your third chance (per the Blocking Policy), you have received two warnings and two blocks for the same offenses. If you continue where you left off (falsifying info without any indication as to why you have changed it), you will be permanently blocked. I am appealing to you to indicate why you are changing anything through a minimum of using Edit Summaries, because, as your good edits showed, you can help to improve the site. Failure to do so will result in only one action, you will be blocked permanently and without hesitation. Take notice that all of your edits will be carefully scrutinized and checked, this entire episode has been painful to the wiki, and, again, there will be swift action if you continue down the path already trodden.
