Fight the treasure hunters to get Swims back
|
The Ruined City: Mire MechanicaEdit
The Mire Mechanica is a location in The Ruined City, unlocked by completing the Brass Fortress Market Square. After talking to the city's people, you'll have to engage in battle with the treasure hunters. After selecting the battle, you'll face the choice of Disarm and Attack, the former of which means "You start with Swims, but face more opponents"; and Attack, which means that "Your opponent starts with Swims captured". Once you complete it for the first time, you'll receive a playset of Murkwater Guide.
If you choose to Attack, you'll be warned "Don't hurt Swims. They're using him as an Argonian shield."
However, if you choose to Disarm, you'll be told that "Swims is back, but you've been ambushed."
If you chose the former, the Treasure Hunters will begin with Captive Swims-at-Night in play. If you chose the other, you'll begin with Swims-at-Night in play and your opponent will begin with a Ruthless Freebooter and Ratway Prospector in the field and shadow lanes respectively.
DialogueEdit
- Pre-match:
- Aldora: "Well, well. If it isn't the fool we got the ring from. Come for your friend?"
- Laaneth: "Swims!"
- Aldora: "There's a hefty bounty on this Argonian's head. But tell you what: Throw down your weapons, and promise to leave us to plunder in peace, and you can have him."
- Starting the match with Attack:
- Laaneth: "Trust you? Not likely. We'll get him back the hard way."
- Starting the match with Disarm:
- Aldora: "Wise choice. Although, it's just occurred to me: Why don't we just kill you now and take our captive back?"
- Post-match:
- Laaneth: "They're running. Now if only we knew what they've done with the cultists' memory star."
- Swims-at-Night: "You mean this memory star? I stashed it away when they thought I was unconscious."
- Laaneth: "You're a wonder. Let's take a look at it."
