< Elder Scrolls Online: Places / Transport
A map of border crossings between zones, including those through Blackreach and Player Houses

Border Crossings, or Transition Points, are locations where it is possible to cross between Zones on foot. Most of these crossings are unmarked places, in which case descriptive names not found in the game are used here.

Aldmeri DominionEdit

This gate connects Baandari Trading Post in Malabal Tor with the Northern Woods region of northwestern Reaper's March. When you pass through into Reaper's March, the Vinedusk Wayshrine will be marked on your map if you have not yet discovered it. The gate as seen from Northern Elsweyr

This gate, in the northern part of Green Hall in Grahtwood, connects to Valenwood Gate in Northern Elsweyr. A burned Khajiiti villa can be seen past the rocks behind it. The tunnel to Reaper's March is located right next to the gate, and both of them are behind a larger wooden gate with Khajiiti banners, statues, and posts, as well as a dead Bosmer woman on top. Various tents surround the area, along with a capsized trading cart nearby. Passing through into Northern Elsweyr will unlock the Riverhold wayshrine, while crossing the other way will unlock the Haven Wayshrine if you have not yet visited Grahtwood.

During early alpha development, a map showed that the Tenmar Forest, rather than Reaper's March, was planned to have been a playable zone, and this gate would have connected to it.

Grahtwood TunnelEdit

In Grahtwood, the tunnel is located just to the right of the Elsweyr Gate north of the town of Cormount, while the Reaper's March end is just southwest of the village of Willowgrove. When you pass through into Reaper's March, Vinedusk Wayshrine will be added to your map if you have not yet discovered it. Crossing the other way will unlock the Haven Wayshrine if you have not yet visited Grahtwood.

The locked gate in eastern Dawnmead

Located north of Dune and just southeast of Fort Sphinxmoth, in the east of the Dawnmead region of Reaper's March, this gate is inoperable. While the intended destination of this gate is unknown, its positioning would suggest it is the reverse side of the Western Elsweyr Gate of Cyrodiil.

The gate itself cannot be used directly, but a cart standing just in front of it will take you to The Reach, next to North Markarth Wayshrine, which geographically is just across the mountain pass. A cart at the destination location in The Reach can be used to travel back to Bangkorai.

If you pass through the other way, Davon's Watch Wayshrine will be marked if you have not yet visited Stonefalls.

Neutral and DisputedEdit

Cyrodiil BridgesEdit

In southeast Cyrodiil, there are a number bridges crossing over rivers. Passing over the Corbolo River, a large drawbridge and a barricaded bridge named Crestbridge can be found leading into the Nibenay Basin. Over the Larsius River, there is a bridge connected to Bravil that leads to a large inaccessible gate, which may be connected to Nibenay Valley. Oddly, the door for it is a Dunmer architecture asset.

Cyrodiil Gate GarrisonEdit

The Gate Garrison

The Cyrodiil Gate Garrison in southeastern Craglorn is ostensibly a Daggerfall Covenant entry point into Cyrodiil. However, the gate cannot be opened by players of any alliance, since Cyrodiil must be entered using the Alliance War interface. Geographically, it appears to link indirectly to the Northern High Rock Gate, and a cart to the Falkreath Hold  dungeon can also be found nearby.

A bridge on the east side of Pantherfang Chapel which is normally inaccessible from the zone map, where it lacks a gate. A more detailed version of the bridge is found inside the player house, where a gate is found between it in the house, though it is barred on one side. Furnishings can also not be placed on it. The pathway leads to the Nibenay Basin, and a long trail outlined in the zone shows that it goes north.

Portal to FargraveEdit

The portal to Fargrave

A portal to Fargrave  can be found in an unmarked cave just outside the southern gate of Marbruk in Greenshade. It is tended to by Paraces Limax and connects to Fargrave Outskirts. On the other side is a Portal to Tamriel, offering two-way transport.
